It's eight am in the morning and the football players are doing their morning exercise I tried not to look at him so my friends wouldn't tease me

Not like I doubted him but i didn't expect that the football team will let him join that easy

The thing about liking someone is that sometimes you can't stop things to happen because you don't have the right to do it and sometimes you can write a hundreds of poems about them and still don't have the courage to tell them what you feel

I was always looking forward to be in a sophomore year since we're in the new building and the air conditioning here is much better

So she's been one of my close friends since middle school but then when pandemic happened we kind of lost our communication but anways we still became friends when it's back to normal I also told her about my feelings towards clyde and i guess this school year she have a crush on him too I mean she said it's for a cover up for the guy She actually likes I don't know if I'm being naive

" Are you guys gonna go to the food court ? " i ask my friends

" Yeah you're comming? " Loise asks

I agreed  to go even tho I'm not gonna buy anything i have nothing to do here anways

While my friends are waiting for the line I decided to stand besides the entrance but since bree is beside me as caught something

She's giving me a ' sign look ' but i can't catch up

After a few hours it's already our class dismissal I thought my dad is gonna pick me up but he canceled last minute since have a lot of errands to do and now I'm gonna wait for a vehicle so i can get home

Most students waits for their service in the back entrance but I usually wait in the front

" Fuck sake it's raining " i curse in annoyance
I don't have an umbrella i hate bringing one
So i guess I'll have to run like I'm some flash super hero

they're looking at me like They want me to get hit by a lightning strike

While they're walking towards the entrance I'm also walking beside them the spot is a bit crowded since students are also waiting for their service

I plug my earphones on as I played a song

I glance at Clyde who looks upset texting someone on his phone while looking around
the students gets lessen from time to time as it gets even darker the rain just keeps on pouring while i wait for a Vehicle

Every second counts I don't wanna talk to you anymore, and all this little games you can call me by the name i gave you yesterday yeah

As the song goes on it beats with my thoughts i look around as His friends got picked up and now it's only him standing from the other side probably like just a few steps from me

Every minute counts I don't wanna watch tv anymore, Yeah Can you figure me out ?Just doin to waste more time in the couch

It's just four of us waiting now me and him and two college students

And just like that those girls got picked up too

Now it's just me and him while the rain is keep on pouring

I don't know if I'm just seeing things but i can see the realization in his face that he knows that it's only the both of us are left now

When i was younger i always blush when two people are stuck in the rain waiting for it to stop because i know while waiting that the way they're gonna talk or meet for the first time

But I'm in that situation right now waiting for the rain to stop and his here but it doesn't feel like a movie

I can sense he doesn't like the awkward tension too

I swear I caught him giving me side eyes like a couple of times-

Finally ! there's a vehicle now o can finally go home and get out of this shit

I'm not gonna look back it's gonna be really awkward isn't it .

Out of all people why her ? i'd rather be alone here in this time of the night and hear weird things than wait here with someone but it's gonna be her

Good thing it's been months that she's not trying to interact with me since I don't want to since I don't wanna be teased about it

A vehicle stops infront of us but I'll just let her take it I'm trying to avoid looking anywhere since I don't like the idea that i might lock eyes with her

The driver asks then I  lookat her who tries to look in another direction

The vehicle drives away as look at it till I can't see it anymore .
