" Be careful with that last time you kicked you accidentally hit a teacher " I laugh , between me and him his actually the one who's rebellious but from him he thinks it's me
My phone vibrates as I check the notification

" Ohhh! " a group of people reacts surrounding someone rhyl runs towards them leaving me behind I tried to check what they're looking at and then I saw her
She's covering her eyes while her friends are trying to help her
" Shit I'm sorry ! " rhyl said in panick
I look at him as he shrugged his shoulders my jaw tightened
" What ? Are you like concerned now ? " He teases I take the ball away from him and walk away

" Hey Clyde I'm glad you can make it ! " Alira said with an excitement in her face
" Hi " i softly smile waiting for her to say something
" So I heard " she said and pause " that you told Hailey that I should stop texting you " She continues the expression on my face drops in plain " What ? " I said don't know what to do

I said I don't know if I use the right words I don't want to offend her but I also need what I need to say
She nods " I understand " she taps my shoulders not saying anything as she walks away I look at her
Sometimes it stings my heart that I couldn't feel the same towards someone but I don't want to lead her on I don't entertain someone not because I'm coward but because I think I'm not ready yet and I don't want them getting the wrong idea when I'm not even sure about them
My friends tried to set me up with girls everytime I just don't want too I think they're beautiful I just don't see myself being with someone right now
And it makes me wonder sometimes is it really required to have a thing with someone at this age ? I did have a crush but it was never serious

After the practice I decided to go home it's also getting late and mom is probably home by now
I opened the gate I hear a group of people talking my mom probably have visitors come over
I opened the door with familiar faces greeting me " Didn't know you guys are coming over good evening " I smile greeting them my aunts and cousins are here right now
" how's school for you Clyde ? " aunt tiya asks
" All good I'm actually from a soccer practice " I said
" Oh yeah about that I bought this for you" aunt tiya handed me a box it's a new cleets in color blue " Thankyou ! " I hug her

" Do what ? Why are you even apologizing to me " I said while eating my fries I love this cafeteria they have a fries with a drink under it
" You know when I hit her accidentally with the ball I'm not a soccer player- " he tried to explain but jed interrupts
" what happened? " he asks
I don't even know why is he even apologizing to me I'm the one who got hit by the ball
" Well I was just playing and then I kick it so hard and I accidentally hit someone with it and then I run towards that person and it was Callie and then Clyde gave me a glare- " he said but I cut him off
" I wasn't giving a glare why would I give you a glare " I said in reflex
Rhyl and Jed look at each other as I realize where is this heading
" No no way " I said shaking my head
" Don't tell me you're concerned I mean I won't judge " Jed said in a teasing tone
I look at rhyl he raises both of his hands like his guilty " Don't blame I was just telling him about yesterday " he said
" Clydeeee!! " John approaches with a loud voice putting his arms around me while trying to get my fries and eating it I shake my head in disappointment this guy can't be serious
" What happened to her ? " rhyl asks pointing at someone
I know what his trying to do he wants me to get teased
" Oh I heard she got hit by a soccer ball yesterday that's why she have that little mark near her eye " he said and then his eyes landed on me giving me a suspicious grin
" Yow Callie , Clyde said you should look around next time " John said I hit his stomach with my elbows he reacts dramatically
I look at her who's calling someone on her phone while looking at us giving John a middle finger
Should put that hand down
" That's a look of admiration don't you guys think ? " John said while the three of them caught me looking at her
" I was looking at someone behind her " i said I don't want to hear another tease so decided to go in our classroom first I heard their tease and laughs and I don't know but I smiled at that

Sometimes after dismissal me and my friends stays in the class and just talk about things the thing about our school is that our classroom is like our own home basically we're not the one who's transferring in another classroom every subject it's the teacher
" Guys I'm gonna go to the bathroom so please excuse me " I said
Just as I opened the door I hear a string of a guitar and someone is singing softly
I quitely close the door watching him strum the guitar his sitting in a flat wall railing alone with a guitar in his hands
He looks up and I tried to look at something else
He probably thinks I'm a creep
I didn't look back after that feeling the embarrassment
While I was walking to the bathroom I can hear the intro of all too well being strum
My heart drops I stop in my tracks and I can't help myself and look back
His playing all too well
The lyrics of that songs always get stuck in my mind and that song feels close to me
