A MAFIA'S TREASURE

CHAPTER 2

It felt like a train wreck in my head it was so hard to open my eyes it was like my eyes were made of bricks.And when i did it was still dark i was blind folded and it was freezing it was like they put me in a freezer ,my head throbbing made it worse i tried getting my hands untied but it was to hard since the ropes where tied really tight and they were itchy.

And as i was busy trying to worm out i didn't notice someone come in.He leaned against the door frame amused by what i was doing "your not going anywhere ",i stiffened at his voice and my heart started trembling. " Cute ",he whispered thinking i didn't hear him.

Could you please let me go my mom is probably worried about me "i lied" . You dont have a mom " he said " making my heart skip a beat .How ...how did i know "he cut through my words" .Because i know everything "he said with pride in his voice". I could feel him come closer and next thing i felt was his breath fanning over my ear, then he remuved the blindfolder i was surprised to find him to close to my face he stared into my eyes for solid 30 second before he stood up straight and put his hands in his pockets and looked down at me.

I felt like dissapearing under his gaze.He turned on his heels and left but as he walked out of the door i called to him,hey wait what about letting me go"i said hoping he'd turn back",but he didn't  after he left a maid walked in and untied my hands.

Uggh thank you so much"i said looking at my wrists",and hissed as i rubbed them.Follow me mam "she said"As i got out of the dark room,the brightness blinded my eyes and as i ajusted my eyes i almost dropped my jaw to the floor.The house was literally stunning the dark interior was just my style.

The darkness was comforting reminder  of my apartment.
Mam, mam can you hear me"the maid called out",ahhh what no i didn't what were you saying"i said as i got of my trance ",Mr Dartanian would like if you could go into his office.

His office ,isn't he letting me go "i said confused ".And she said nothing.Okay where is his office? "i ask",right this way mam. I walked into his office again taken away by the interior.  Sit down " he ordered",and i did as he said.He looked away from his laptop closing it turning his gaze to me .

You understand i cant let you go easily ,you have way to valuable information to let you go . I understand but i promise you i wont tell anyone please just ...you think i would fall for that trick what do you see when you look at me... a clown  . Umm no i would never lie to you. You lied about your mother though. 

I just wanted you to le me g.go"i said stutturing at the last word".  I will let you go... really "i cut in a bit too quickly",on one condition. He grabbed a document in front of him and slid it to me.  I want you to sign that document dont ask just sign then you can go.  I looked at the document suspiciously. What it i said no questions Miranda "he snaped",he gave me a pen and i eyed it intensely finally done arguing with my mind ,i signed only because my mind kept fighting with me.

As i lifted my head up i saw a smirk creap up into the man's face .That will be all Miranda. Can i leave" i looked at him hopefully ",No .With  that he closed the door behind me leaving me alone in the room.

WHAT "i said as i rushed to open the door"WHAT THE HECK,HEY COME BACK HERE"i screamed". Mam you're not allowed to leave the house " one of the guards said".HEY LET GO OF ME ,COME BACK HERE ,HEY ...MAN LET GO I GOT TO TALK TO HIM .

I watched him as he got into his car and drove off while i was struggling with the gaurds.One of them picked me up and went up the stairs with me while i was kicking and screaming .He threw me into a room and closed the door making sure to lock it.

HEY GET ME OUT OF HERE....HELP SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE HELP me... my voice wandered off as i began to overthink letting my brain do the worst i slip into the floor and clutch my hair as i feel my breathing become uneven ,i realised then that i was slowly slipping into a panic attack my heart burned i as if everything was shutting down.

The world around me grew dark ,i hugged my knees and started rocking myself ...not again no i can't fall into this blackhole again.Then i blacked out.

I struggled to open my eyes as i remembered everything ,i clutched  my head rubbing the part that hurt the most.I stud up from the cold floor noticing it's nighttime i almost fell back down but held on to the wall.{well at least it's a bedroom instead of the basement} .

I throw myself onto the bed face first and get in the bed sheets feeling cold to the bone as i shake non stop ,when i heard the door creak open it was him holding a tray of food.And i was still violently shaking .He puth the food down and left just like that he left .What in the inhumane world type of person is he.

I just look at the food next to me not even thinking that i haven't eaten anything since last night.But i just fall asleep disregarding the food.

I was suddenly waken up by a blinding light for a moment i thought i was dead.But it was just the maid opening the curtains. Mmmh please dont open them "i said my voice hoarse as it came out",Mam i must it's the bosses orders and if you need to shower the bathroom  is over there"she pointed to the right ",and the closet's inside the bathroom i will come back with your meal to start the day"she bowed and walked out",wait why would she bow am not royalty.I got out of bed and stood up a bit too quickly and gravity became my enemy i went down like a sack of potatoes ,i went down with a loud thud.I hissed as pain jolted up my sprained leg .Mam are you okay" she said with a look of worry",Aahhh yes dont... dont worry about it am fine. No you dont seem fine"she said",I SAID AM FINE"i angrily spat",just leave me  alone please, with pity in her eyes she left .
I sat up on the bed no emotion what's so ever i looked over to the food and had no appetite at all,so i just left them and got in bed and slept.

Hours later i wake up to a figure  starring down at me i properly opened my eyes to meet a very ticked off man.
Why didn't you eat!.  I just looked at him with no energy to even get up.ANSWER ME DAMMIT!!! . This time he had enough he took the sheets of me and ordered me to get up from the bed.

I did as he said with no energy i gave in and expected to feel my body collide with the floor but instead two firm hands held me up.
Just look at you ,you cant even stand up on your own . With no strength to stay put i sat on the bed felling dizzy and just looked down.Then the maid walked in with a tray of food she put it on the bedside stand.

Here you go eat... . I just looked at hin instead  of eating. Just let me go please"i pleaded " . Would you stop being difficult your getting under my nerves  "he said angrily",then what's that contract about "i asked starting to feel weird ".

Look i said no ques... "he said noticing my weird behavior " You okay "he said changing expressions ".Everything became blurry ,i could feel my organs refusing to co-operative. And i started panting faster and faster ,i tried shaking it off but it didn't work my stomach felt like it just did a somersault i...i need food"is all i could mutter under all the heavy breathing ".Before i could look over to the food everything shut down.

I noticed her weird behavior while i was in the process of answering her question ,she began clutching the bed with her nails dug deep,her heard lingered ,her face so pale she had lost all colour in it.She started shaking and as i crouched over to see her i heard her mutter that she needs food but before anything could happen she passed out ,catching her before she could collide with the floor i carefully tucked her in bed.

I took out my phone to call for Mark.Mark is a very well trusted friend of mine and he is also a doctor he's been working with me for 5 years now he's always the guy i call when things got ruff.Hey mark i need you to rush over here i need help"i said rubbing my temples",is it bad"he said ",uhh yeah just hurry" with that said i got off the call".

I grabbed a chair and sat next to her with the sunlight on her face i noticed how unique her features are ,her brown curly hair rudded up,her long lashes,her plump cheeks  showing that she clearly hasn't lost her baby fat,her plump pink lips dried up due to dehydration,her skin so pake you could swear she never seen the sun, a strand of hair run over her face and i reached in to remove it and retreated my hand ,i stood up and walked over to the window.

I put my hands in my pocket and looked at my backyard that was just plain but the property was covered with large trees this place would take ages to find.I looked back at her and went out of the room to wait for Mark to arrive.
