Day 1:

Today I've planned what I'll be doing starting next week. But I'm still starting my cleanse now.

For the first day my brother and I did a 24 fasting. We drank nothing but water. Fasting for a day helps reset our systems and metabolism. And trust me it's no picnic fasting while working.

I spent all day feeling hungry and drinking nothing but water. I work a 5 and a half hour shift and believe me even that can feel super long. So I did my best to distract myself and take my mind off cravings. It sort of worked.

I didn't touch any food but the fact that there are vending machines in the break room and the fact that my teams are celebrating one of our co-workers finishing their job training.

But luckily I kept reminding myself I weighed 305 pounds so I had to resist.

Will power is not always easy but if we put effort into it we are sure to overcome temptations.

So the day went by decently.

I feel good about this too.
