Welcome back to the world of Monox.
Our current protagonists, Rey and Mateusz are on their way to achieve their own goals. One wants a worthy opponent. And the other wants to avenge her parents. Will they both achieve these goals? Stay tuned for the next chapters
Recap:
Mateusz and Rey met a good friend of Mateusz. Percy, The Fire Trail Leader. He explains some history about Skyton and that Liteel's and the evolutionary line went extinct.
Later, Rey had her first ever trainer battle and came out victorious. They fell asleep on a tree house done by Syntheragon. As they fell asleep, we get to see what Bolek, the evil twin brother of Lolek what he was doing in the meantime. He hired 2 bounty hunter which never failed to catch their target.
And now...
End of Recap:
Bolek gave them a good handshake
"Welcome to Zakotur, beautiful city, am I right?"
Both of the masked and armored hunters said nothing.
"*sighs* do you both know why I hired you both?"
One of the hunters had their thumbs up but the other showed like they did not exactly know.
"Great! Have you guys ever failed to The hunters had their thumbs down.
"That is great news. You may not battle Mateusz. But, there is someone else that you both should capture for me.
Rey Anne. She will be the bait so we can make Mateusz angry. Telling Syntheragon to not hold back. That is my plan. Then everyone will hate on him because my brother, Lolek will have our back. Got it?"
It was pure silence, the hunters had their thumbs up. Suddenly, Ghouragon came out. A purple dragon with floating hands, head and horns. It also had a orange mouth and eyes.
"You both will be heading to Laflug.
They might not be far away from there and will arrive tomorrow.
Do not let your guard down, do not attract much attention. And most importantlty. I want the girl alive in front of me. If you guys fail on one of these things, I won't pay you guys a cent. Got it?"
The hunters had their thumbs up for the last time and their Ghouragon teleported them to Laflug city.
Meanwhile somewhere late in the night....
Rey wakes up in the tree house. She hears constant light tapping. She tries to wake up Mateusz.
"Yo, dude. Wake up. You hear this?"
Mateusz wakes up and suddenly stays guard.
"Yeah, lemme see what that was."
Mateusz and Rey were deep inside a forest. It was all pitch black. Mateusz had a peek, looked both left and right but still couldn't see shit. Until, he notices some yellow eyes. He sends out Royally to light up the place. It was a Fungaist.
A grass and ghost type. A bit short shadow figure with a mushroom on it's head. A skull symbol is on the mushroom. It has no fingers but the rest of the body is covered in moss. There is also a part of moss that makes it look like a scarf and more moss parts cover some body parts.
Mateusz quickly realized that this Monox race gets scared easily in the wild. He immediately sends out his own Fungaist. Mateusz's Fungaist comes up to the other and starts a conversation. It tries to know what is going on and what the reasoning was to coming to this tree house in the first place this late.
Mateusz then sends out Loyally to get information. It takes a minute but then learns the history.
Mateusz saw in his mind that an evil organization destroyed the habitat of that Fungaist, it's family and friends.
They also started to shoot the weaker ones just for fun. Breaking the trees in the near.
