MONOX : THE SECRETS OF THE WORLD - CHAPTER 7 - THE FALLEN GUARDIAN

WELCOME BACK TO THE WORLD OF MONOX. THIS STORY FOCUSES ON TWO PROTAGONISTS. REY, A TEENAGE ROOKIE TRAINER AND MATEUSZ, THE CURRENT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD. BOTH OF THEM HAVE A DIFFERENT GOAL IN THEIR LIFE. ONE TO AVENGE HER PARENTS AND THE OTHER TO FIND A WORTHY OPPONENT. ALSO A NEW MEMBER VICTORIA WHICH RECENTLY JOINED THE TWO AND TRAVELS WITH THEM TO SEE THEM ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS AND SUPPORT THEM. WILL THE TWO ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL? YOU WILL FIND OUT IN THE NEXT FUTURE CHAPTERS!

Recap: In the last chapter, Rey got kidnapped by the two Bounty hunters which were hired by Bolek. The two Bounty Hunters were possesed by Geneflex, an ancient being from puter space looking only for destruction. Liteel later evolves in mid-fight into Prinsteel. Geneflex then had to do it on his own and easily overpowered Prinsteel. In the last second, Syntheragon came to rescue Rey and her team by punching the living shit out of Geneflex. As they got back to Laflug City, Mateusz had to take a moment to think about if he was reckless or not. As he got back to the hotel room, Mizu and Mateusz had a chat and Mizu started to cheer Mateusz up. They both then hugged each other, showing that they could be more than just friends. In the morning Mizu had to leave the group because of her job and then our protagonists went inside a forest. As they will leave the forest, they will leave The Woody Lands and go to Multi Lakes. A part of the Furia Region with a giant eerie forest and a lot of lakes.

The story of The Bridge and The Abyss Hole
The Lake Forest. A forest that belongs to two states of Furia Region. Woody Lands and Multi Lakes. Inside the forest, somewhere deep in it. There is a giant hole and a wooden bridge. Long time ago, a ranger fell from the bridge while saving a kid from bullies in rain. His name has been forgotten but was known by many locals. It was a young man im his 30s that passed away. Although no one knows anymore his name, they gave him a nickname. THE FALLEN GUARDIAN.
Police wanted to investigate and sent help and tried to find him. But no one came ever out of that hole. No one knows how deep it is. One thing was known for sure, no one ever escaped. In the present, people have spotted a shadow figure with ranger clothes standing in the middle of the bridge while holding 2 signs. One read: "DO NOT FALL" and the other read: "WATCH OUT FOR THE ROOTS". People claim that it is The Fallen Guardian warning people from danger. But that still is a mystery. Many ghost investigators tried to contact with at least one spirit but did not get much. The hole has gotten a nickname too. The Abyss Hole. It was called like that because no light could have reached the end.

Mateusz, Rey and Victoria were following a path. The path which was not far away from The Bridge.

"Hey guys. I heard that "The Abyss Hole" is nearby. Should we like check it out?"
Rey asked if they would like to check it out with her.

"HELLYEAAAAAH"
Victoria right away agreed.

"I always wanted to check it out but I always got scared of the stories. And because it takes a lot of walking. We were walking for like 3 hours by now."

"What about our Champion? He surely is not scared of it, riiiiiight?"
Rey asked Mateusz.

"I am not but that is a waste of time."
Mateusz responded.

"Oh, so you are in fact scared, hmmm?"
Rey pointed out.

"I will prove it to you, just follow me. I know the fastest way to get there."

"Ugh, it better not be like 2 hours or some shit."
Victoria started to complain.

(It took them 10 minutes to find something)

As they were going through the bushes, they found a wooden house. It looked abandoned but it has seen better days.

"What a beauty."
Mateusz pointed out.
