"Will you shut up? This is a church." Sabine muttered as Clara kept yapping about her hookup from the previous night as they visited the Sagrada Família.
"You're no fun, I already told you I came here to actually have fun, not to walk around for hours pretending to be interested in everything I see." Clara rolled her eyes at her.
They were pretty different, Clara was way more open and carefree, while Sabine was rather shy at first, even though she knew how to have fun when needed. But despite their differences in character, they were very good friends.
"I don't know what to wear!" That was what Sabine was hearing since Clara had opened her suitcase.
"Listen, we're not going to the 'Met Gala', we're going to party on a beach, no need to be fancy." Sabine tried to help her, before she went into the bathroom to actually get ready for the night.
"What do you think about this?" Clara twirled around to show her dress to her friend. It was a red cut out that reached mid thigh, which she had paired with some sandals. She couldn't go to the bach in heels, could she?
"It's...yeah, it's cute. I was expecting worse, but this isn't as slutty as your usual dresses." Sabine teased her, laughing quietly. "Jokes apart, you look stunning. How about mine?" she asked as she did her hair.
"It's so gorgeous, Sab!" Clara exclaimed, her jaw almost dropping at the sight. Sabine wasn't the type to wear dresses, she didn't feel comfortable in them. However, her friend always said that she looked gorgeous in them. And this one wasn't any different, it was just a short, dark blue bodycon with a split on her left leg.
"Thank you, but I don't know...isn't the neckline too deep?" Sabine asked, biting her lip nervously as she looked at herself in the mirror.
"Not at all, if anything it enhances your curves." Clara reassured her, "You're going to turn heads tonight."
"Jesus, this place is packed!" Sabine exclaimed as they walked to the beach were the party was already going and it looked like there were more people than grains of sand.
"I'm going to the bar, do you want anything?" The blonde practically screamed into her ear since the music was pretty loud. Sabine shook her head and kept dancing. She bumped into someone and she was about to apologise when she noticed who it was.
"Chloe? My goodness, it's been so long!" Sabine chirped as she saw Chloe Stroll, one of her childhood best friends, and hugged her. "Are you here on vacation, too?"
"Yeah, I'm here with Scotty, Lance and some of his friends. How about you? Are you done with the exams?" The Canadian asked, one hand on her drink and the other on her shoulder.
"Yep, I've just finished the other day! I'm here with Clara, my roomate, I think you know her." Sabine said while waving the latter over.
When Clara reached them, they had a small chat before Chloe was called by her brother. Someone caught the girls' eyes, his faced seemed familiar. "Cla, is that Mick Schumacher?" Sabine turned to look at her friend with a rather surprised look on her face.
"I told ya we would've found someone famous here!" Clara snickered, "Why don't we go talk to him? He's with Chloe's friends after all." The blonde proposed, knowing Sabine had a huge crush on the German. "Oh, but wait, we came here for the monuments, didn't we?" She teased with a smug look on her face.
