"Hey, Chloe, my friend just went with some dude, is it okay if I stay with you guys for a bit?" Sabine asked hesitantly, trying to avoid looking at Mick. Was he even real?

"Yeah, of course, sit here," the Canadian patted the spot next to her on the sofa.

"Thanks." Sabine smiled gratefully. She tried to talk with the other people there even though she was shy. She couldn't stay silent the whole night, could she?

Someone in particular seemed pretty nice, his name was Finn, sounded like an australian dude, probably a friend of Scotty's. He was so nice he even offered a drink or two, but unfortunately, by the first and a half drink Sabine was already tipsy and decided to stop there, knowing she didn't handle alcohol well. Chloe noticed that and told her to go home with Mick, he was their DD* for the night so he was sober.

"Are you sure, Chloe? I don't even know him." Sabine lied, she did know him, but it would've been pretty awkward since she was already shy of her, let alone if he would've been around.

"I swear, he's a nice guy, Sab. Just tell him where you're staying at and he'll drive you there, nothing more." Chloe reassured her, calling Mick over to tell him to drive Sabine home.

The ride to her place was embarrassing to say the least, but at least they had something to talk about when they found out they lived next to each other. Once there, he got out of the car with her to walk her to the door, but they soon realised it was useless since she didn't have the keys.

"You can stay at my place until your friend gets here, I don't want you to stay out alone." Mick offered kindly, he was really a nice guy, wasn't he?

"That's so kind of you, thanks..." Sabine said bashfully while they got into his place.

"No worries, " -he smiled kindly, showing his dimples, he was so cute she couldn't even think straight- "make yourself at home, my friends aren't here yet."

"We could, I don't know, watch a movie? We don't want it to get boring, do we?" He offered and sat on his couch and beckoned her to sit beside him.

She settled beside him and they started watching a movie, surprisingly enough without feeling uncomfortable. They were so at ease with each other that she started to lean on his shoulder, or maybe it was just the alcohol in her system that stopped her from overthinking.

One way or another, she got bored of the film and started looking at him. Actually, looking was an euphemism, she was almost staring at him. The way his chest rose and fell, the way his jaw clenched as he focused on the movie. He was flawless.

Then her gaze went down to his arms, his biceps making the shirt look tight, his exposed forearms making her question her sanity. Was it just the alcohol or was he really that hot?

Unfortunately, he caught her staring and pretended nothing at first, but when he saw she didn't look away, he turned his head and leaned in.

"You don't give a damn about the movie, do you?" He whispered on her lips, his eyes flickering from her lips to her eyes.

As much as she wanted to give him an answer, she couldn't form any coherent words. Her mind felt like a river of incoherent thoughts that stopped flowing only when his lips touched hers.

Sabine thought she was imagining things for a moment, maybe getting almost drunk wasn't the worst idea of her night after all.

One kiss led to the other and they somehow found themselves making out on the couch, their hands tangling into each other's hair as he made her lie on her back. It was like her hands moved on their own as she started to unbutton his shirt, feeling his lips go down to her neck. In a swift movement she slid his shirt off his shoulders and felt her cheeks heat up. Was it humanly possible to be this hot? She felt his teeth play with the straps of her dress, making her breath catch in her throat. She felt on cloud nine, until her phone rang, making them pull away as if they had been in a trance all along.

"Sorry, it's my friend." Sabine said apologetically, her cheeks looking like tomatoes.

"Where the hell are you? I thought you were with Chloe, but she told me that you went home. You forgot your keys here." Clara said over the phone.

"I'm fine, I'm at a friend's of Chloe's. He lives next to us." -Sabine explained- "he took me here and we were just chilling."

"Okay, stay there, I'm coming." Said Clara before hanging up.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that," Mick said as he walked her to the door, "Sleep well, I'll see you around." He said before she walked out.
