"Cla, wake up, we gotta go to the beach." Sabine tried to wake her friend up, gently shaking her shoulders.

"What did you say about my mom...?" Clara mumbled, still half-asleep.

"I- what? I said we gotta go to the beach, girl." The brunette laughed softly.

It took a lot of convincing but they eventually made it to the beach in time, meeting up with Chloe and Scotty.

Sabine and Clara were playing volley on the shore when Sabine smelled something familiar, like a cologne...but she couldn't put her finger on it. It was a very strong scent and it eventually clicked: it was Mick's cologne. Wait, Mick's cologne? How did she know his scent?

"Sab, the ball! Come on!" Her best friend's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Sorry...I was lost in thought for a moment." She said as she passed the volleyball to her friend.

"Lost in thought, girl you looked like you were daydreaming." Clara chuckled, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I just...I guess I just remembered a dream I had, it's nothing." The brunette said quietly.

"It's not nothing if it made you zone out like that, what did you remember?" The blonde teased.

"It's just...I smelled someone's perfume and it brought back some bits from the other night. But I guess it was just a dream...it can't really have happened." Sabine shook her head and shrugged her shoulders.

"Okay, but what was it?" Clara insisted.

"I had this flash of...Mick and I lying on a couch while making out, but I'm sure it was just dream..." Sabine said, a light blush appearing on her cheeks at the thought.

Clara's eyes widened for a moment, she had to tell her the truth, didn't she...?  "Yeah, I'm sure it was just a dream," she repeated.

"Hold on," Sabine furrowed her eyebrows, "You're lying."  She stated.

"What?! Why would I- How do you-" The blonde stuttered over her words, she always did that when she got busted while lying.

"What do you know, Cla?" Sabine asked, tilting her head slightly.

Clara sighed softly and bit the inside of her cheek. "Can we take a walk?"

"Basically Chloe told me that Mick did actually take you home the other night, but since you didn't have the keys, he brought you to his place." Clara explained, "He made you watch a movie since you were tipsy and he didn't want it to be awkward."

"Cla, go straight to the point, what happened? Why all this big fuss?" Sabine asked impatiently.

"You two started making out and if I hadn't called you, I don't know what could've happened." Clara blurted out.

Sabine stopped in her tracks, looking at her friend with wide eyes. "Oh god, this is so embarrassing."

"At least he's gone now and you'll never see him again." Clara shrugged.

"What do you mean he's gone? Wasn't he here with Chloe and Scotty?" Sabine furrowed her brows.

"Yeah, but he wasn't living with them, he was in the house next to ours and he left earlier this morning." Clara explained.

"Oh, okay..." Sabine nodded, though she felt a pang of sadness in her. He was gone, that meant that at least she didn't have to face him, which would've been awkward. But that also meant she would never see him again, probably, which made her a bit sad.
