Like asta's anti magic from black clover, Zera has a giant black sword she can pull from a book. If anyone else touches the sword they loose the ability to use their quirks while in contact. When they release contact their quirks will return. If they are cut by the sword then even after they've stopped touching it their quirk will be nullified for a brief amount of time.

Backstory:
She was placed in Erasurehead's custody 5 years ago after being caught stealing one night by the hero.
She had been on the streets aline for a year by then.
