A few remarks about the story: The story takes place in the 'real' world, I'm going to use the names, characteristics etc. of the Star Wars characters, in this story the names (even the strangest ones lol) of the characters are normal, right? And also an observation about the places described, they won't always be the identical way they 'should be', they will be adapted for the story.
This story has: inappropriate language, sex, violence, use of illicit substances... well, that's what I can think of for now.
The character's name is Barbara and she's 22, Anakin is 28.
I'd also like to thank my friend Vicky for her support and for making all the artwork for the story, thanks vicky🤍

I rushed out the door, running for the elevator and almost tripping over my own feet on the way. Damn, I was late again. I pressed the elevator buttons and could feel my cell phone vibrating somewhere inside my bag.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, I walked quickly to the door, carrying a notebook and my tablet in my hand. I left so late that I barely had time to organize my materials, what a mess.

"Barb! I was just texting you."

The voice of my best friend, Zoe, came from behind me.

"Late as usual." I replied as we walked side by side.

Zoe and I are neighbors. She lives in the building next to mine, on the campus of Vancouver College. It had been six months since I arrived, and she was one of the first friends I made here. We met through a friend - also Brazilian, Larissa - who already knew her. We became very good friends, got extremely close very quickly and used to go to college together.

"Are we going out tonight?" She asked excitedly.

"I'm so lazy." I grimaced as I turned my face to face Zoe, seeing her jade-colored eyes roll back.

"Don't even start, if I let you, you'll barely leave the house. Yes, you will, ma'am." She said, bossy. I rolled my eyes and laughed nasally. "And you're going to look nice, in a good mood and smiling, none of that scowl." He moved his index finger in circles, pointing at my face. "Friday night, Barb!"

"Asking for a good mood is enough." I teased, looking away before crossing the street.

Zoe giggled and waved goodbye in the opposite direction.

"Look at my messages!" She spoke a little loudly before disappearing from my sight.

I stopped on the sidewalk, stuffed my belongings into my bag and headed off to class. As soon as I sat down in a chair in the corner of the room, I took advantage of the fact that the teacher was still organizing his things and picked up my phone to check the messages Zoe was referring to. They were about a fraternity party that night. There were some about a guy she was staying with and also messages from my parents. I replied by sending a photo - taken discreetly - of the room and wishing them good morning. I began to pay attention to the teacher who was starting to speak.
