(Tsukasa's POV)
It feels like it just happened yesterday, though it happened last week.
I feel like, besides Saki, my mother was the person closest to me. And she was gone. Now all I have is Saki. And I can't even take care of myself. How am I supposed to take care of both of us at the same time?
"Tsukasa."
Huh?
I opened my eyes.
???: "Tsukasa, my little boy.."
I froze. "Mom?.."
Mom: "Yes.. it's me. I'm sorry I worried you. Here. Come give your mother a hug. Stay with me.."
I was about to squeeze her in the tightest hug I could give.. until.. I stopped.
Mom: "What are you waiting for? Come hug your.. mother."
I took a step back. "You.."
"Give your mother a hug.."
"You're not my mom."
???: "That's correct. You need to wake up, Tsukasa."
"What?.. Who are you really?!"
"Wake up."
"Why are you messing with me?!"
[Rui?]: "Tsukasa-kun?"
"Huh?"
[Rui?]: "Tsukasa-kun?!"
I blinked. Rui was holding on to my shoulders. "Tsukasa-kun?!"
"Rui.."
"Tsukasa-kun. Tell me what happened."
"Rui, I..."
"Tell me what happened.. or I'll kiss you."
Wait, what? Did I hear that right?
"You'll.. what?"
Rui blushes a little bit. "I said.. I'll kiss you."
"Rui-"
Before I can say another word, he pulls me in and presses his lips against mine for a few seconds. He pulls away and looks right into my eyes.
"Tsukasa-kun.. please tell me what's wrong. I won't leave until you speak up."
"Rui.. I.."
I hesitate for a moment, but I eventually give in.
"Fine.. but can we not talk about this here?"
Rui nods. "Of course. I'll take you to my house instead."
