Both creation and death are a continuous cycle of change, one you cannot ignore. So it disgusted you as much as you hate to admit it now, the hatred presented on your face when you heard from him.
He had told you that Izanami, your creator, your mother wanted him dead. You stared at him dead in the eye as he spoke about what he saw down in the land of the dead. Your eyes which were previously wide open, start to close with annoyance.
The man in front of you was tall, well over 6 feet. Light blonde hair passed just a bit over his shoulders as he has it parted in two pigtails. You noticed how his eyes held terror, not a speck of shine in them. A black hollow pit is what you thought you were looking at.
His previously all-yellow kimono was colored red in some areas. His spaulders along with any other piece of armor he had on were cracked.
In his right hand, his blood-covered spear. Your eyes wandered down the man's fingers. Gripping his weapon as if it's the only thing keeping him sane.
You began bringing your hand up and saw him tense up. His body getting into a fighting position.
He looked surprised for a second before dropping his guard down slightly. "I'm..sorry Y/N." He whispered out.
You only nodded as your hand came up to shield your eyes from the sun. It was deadly silent in your estate's courtyard. Having told everyone who worked there to retire to their own homes for the day.
"Will you help me Y/N?" He asked you, his voice growing tired.
"I don't wish death upon either of you." You told him honestly. "If you were both suddenly out of my life...such a great change would disrupt me."
You pointed above you.
Two figures were floating on a cloud. "They have been listening." You didn't bother to look up but he did.
He noticed how one of them was holding a bag over his shoulders while the other had a ring of drums floating behind him.
He paled as he recognized them.
"Tell me, father...are you going to run away again?"
...
"Are you going to run away Ryubu?" Aphrodite's words made Ryubu snap back to reality.
They were both outside Aphrodite's residence. Bushes of the most beautiful flowers adore the place. Both of them are seated at a round glass table. The white-colored gazebo protects them from the sun.
