I woke up because the smell of fresh pancakes also filled my room.
The smell wanted me to run straight into the kitchen, but I still had the clothes from yesterday on. Guess I fell asleep right away.

So I changed my clothes, today I wore a midi dress in light blue with little white flowers printed on.
I tied my hair up in a bun and washed my face to do a few steps of my skincare.
After that I put on some mascara, lipstick and blush and when everything was done, I ran directly into the kitchen, but standing there at the door frame, I stopped shockingly.

My Mom was making the pancakes and Paul sat behind her eating some of them.
Our eyes met immediately.
There was no reason for him to be here so what is going on?
"What is this disrespectful guy doing here?", I asked angry and he started coughing.

"Paul apologized for yesterday and as a reward I'm making him pancakes.", Mom explained and gave me the be nice look.
"I also apologize for my behavior towards you, Meadow right?", he asked and I just nodded.
Maybe he just needs another chance? Not sure but I'm a person who can forgive sometimes and a feeling inside of me told me to forgive him.
"You apologized, that doesn't mean you can eat all of the pancakes! Give me some.", I said playing it off to give him a chance and he smiled.

He immediately gave me a few of his pancakes and a bit of jam next to it.
"Thanks."

"You're welcome gorgeous.," he winked at me and continued eating as if it was nothing.
It felt like thousand butterflies in my stomach and I wanted to murder all of them. Why is my body reacting that way, very strange.

After his words Mom looked at me with a crooked smile on her face. I could already tell that my face is red like an apple so I didn't dare to look up.

He talked with my Mom about his life basically and her that since he was 8 years old he had been living alone with his father because his parents had divorced. Now he worked with Jacob and the other boys in a the car workshop located La Push.

My Mom was fascinated by him and his story, I also was but then I remembered the man yesterday and I couldn't catch up with both of them anymore.
"Have you seen Jacob today?", I asked him and he looked me in my eyes with almost a death stare.
"What do you want from him?"

"Nothing, just wondering...", I said and he sighed.
Why is he behaving like that? Is it because of Jacob?
I wanted to ask another question but my phone blew up and I saw that I've got a message from the Antique Shop.

They want a personal job-interview with me!
I almost screamed out of happiness.
Followed by that I quickly got up and squeaked around until my Mom complained.
"Shhh! What are you being so loud for?", she asked rolling her eyes.
I told her about the job-interview in one hour and both of them were surprised.

"Wow! Congrats.", Mom said and hugged me tight.
"Congratulations, do you need a ride to the shop?", he asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah that would be awesome but only if you have time for me.", I said and bit on my under lip waiting for his answer.
He quickly chewed his last bites of Moms pancakes and looked at me.
"Sure, I wouldn't have asked if not.", he answered.

This was just an only once in a time thing, if the antique shop says that they're going to accept me then I will go by bus.

So I got up and helped my Mom with the dishes while Paul was eating his 2nd portion of food. I could never eat so much!

Sometimes I could feel how he was staring at me but I tried to ignore it.
"Mom..", I mumbled soft at my Mom who complained about our dishwasher.
"Yeah?"

"Is the dress I'm currently wearing too much for the interview?", I asked and she shook her head.
"It's just a part-time job, nothing serious.", she said and shrugged her shoulders.
I thanked her with a nod but suddenly she grabbed my hand and grin.
She tried to spin me around which happened.
"Maybe we should ask for Paul's opinion on this.", she said giggling like a twelve year old.

How embarrassing!

She knows exactly what she is doing and probably Paul was her favorite boy in La Push right now.
Paul couldn't answer first, he was busy choking on his pancakes and coughing.
Then his eyes started to scan my body from up to down.

I could already feel my cheeks took on the color red.
Heat spread through my whole body.

"The same was Maisie said...", he just mumbled and looked away. It was clearly an awkward situation my Mom created in here, so I decided to avoid looking at her face.

Paul stood up and handed his used dishes towards my Mom after he thanked her for the tasty food she made.
"We should go.", he said to me while he put out his car keys of his jeans pocket.

So after this embarrassing situation, we made our way to my interview.
