Valkyrie woke up to the sound of her phone buzzing on her bedside table. She was exhausted from the night before. Even after she took a long shower after getting home, she still felt a little gross. Her mind kept turning to Halsey's cock breaching her depth and the thought of it made her skin crawl. She had to take a couple shots of vodka before bed for her to be able to fall asleep.

With a groan, she reached over to her nightstand and picked up the phone to see what was making all the racket. It was a text reminder from her dry cleaners to pick up her clothes. Rolling back on the bed with a sigh, she said, "My life is full of the mundane and the outrageous. When will I be able to live a normal life?"

She looked at the time on her phone and saw that it was almost 9:00 AM. Too bad she didn't get to sleep until 4:00 AM. Valkyrie seriously considered returning to get a couple more hours of sleep, but she didn't want to let an entire day go to waste. Even with her body protesting her decision, she got herself out of her bed to get her day started.

The first order of business for her was coffee. She washed her face, brushed her teeth, and piled her long dark hair atop her head in the messiest of buns. Pulling on a pair of jeans and a black T-shirt, she grabbed her keys, her sunglasses and walked out of her loft apartment. Valkyrie had considered driving to the local coffee shop but seeing that the weather was gorgeous and sunny, she decided to take a stroll instead.

Valkyrie's apartment was in the old industrial section of the city. After all the plants shut down, the building sat empty and neglected, until she saw the opportunity for living in the city, but still be in relative isolation. She initially purchased the building that she was currently living in, but when she found out that there were unsavory things going on in the empty buildings which surrounded her place, she decided to see it as an investment and purchased the land and the five other old factory plant buildings on the block. Essentially, she owned the entire city block she was living in and over the years, she made various changes to keep the rest of the city out of the area.

As she walked out of the alleyway that led to the busy city streets, she made a right and walked towards the local store that sold newspapers and coffee in the mornings. She grabbed a newspaper off the stand and greeted the owner. "Good morning, Ozzy."

"Hello, Raven. Good to see you. The usual?"

"Yes, please."

Ozzy handed over a large cup of coffee and said, "Here you go."

Valkyrie paid for the coffee and the newspaper and said, "Thank you, Ozzy. You're a life saver."

The man chortled and said, "I'll see you soon, my dear."

Tucking the newspaper under her arm and already taking her first sip, she waved her hand goodbye and headed downtown to get her day started. As she walked the four blocks to her dry cleaner's, she couldn't escape the feeling that she was being watched. Every once in a while, she'd discreetly look around her surroundings to see if she could spot anyone looking at her, but she couldn't find anyone.

She thought to herself, "I think I might need to take some more time off after this job. I'm getting way too twitchy."

Finally arriving at her destination, she walked into the dry cleaner's store front. She was immediately greeted by a middle-aged Korean woman with a broad smile. The woman looked up from the sewing she was working on and said, "Jane! Long time no see. Here for pick up?"

"Good morning, Mrs. Jung. Yes, I got a text reminder to pick up my things."

"Very good. Give me a second."

Working her magic, Mrs. Jung called for Valkyrie's things on the garment conveyer. Taking a group of freshly cleaned clothes off the moving bar, she handed them over to Valkyrie and said, "There you go, Janie. I'll see you soon then."
