During the entire ride, Valkyrie and Agust talked about anything and everything. She hadn't felt this comfortable in someone's presence that she could recall. The conversation flowed naturally and a part of her didn't want the drive to end, so that they could continue to talk, learn about each other, and laugh. It wasn't until she noticed her surroundings quickly becoming familiar that the conversation slowly ceased. When Valkyrie turned into a hidden road that she had driven on, only a few hours ago, she said to her passenger, "You're bringing me to your place? How interesting."

Not taking his eyes off the road ahead, Agust replied, "Listen, you were the one that said we could do whatever I wanted."

"So, you decided to bring me to your house?"

"Yes. But you can put your worries aside. My house isn't our destination. Before you get to the circular drive, I want you to make a right, onto the small side path and follow the road."

Following his direction, Valkyrie made the right turn and continued down the road. If it wasn't for her headlights illuminating the few feet of the road ahead, the area would've been completely shrouded in darkness, rendering it impossible to see at all. The road seemed to circle towards the back of his estate. Curious, Valkyrie asked, "What's back there?"

"Patience, young lady. You'll see it very soon. "

When Agust pointed to a place where she could park her car, she pulled into the spot and turned off the engine. With her hands tapping on the steering wheel, she asked, "Okay. Now what?"

"We get out of the car."

"You're not going to try and murder me, are you?"

He laughed and replied, "What would have been the point of me interfering with your grand evening, with that rapey dance partner of yours, if murder was what I had in mind for you?"

"I don't know. But I had to ask. You did bring me to the back of your house, in the middle of the night. For all I know, you already have an empty grave dug with my name on it."

Agust turned to look at Valkyrie and replied, "I guess you're just going to have to trust me then."

"Hmm..."

He turned to look at her and asked, "Do you trust me?"

She held his gaze for a moment before she replied. But the answer that came out of her mouth was a surprise to her. She answered, "I do."

"Good! Now, let's get out of the car. I think you'll love what I'm about to show you."

"Alright," she said with a skeptical lilt to her voice.

It was a moonless night, and they were far away enough from the main house that the interior light wasn't helpful in lighting their way. She truly couldn't see past her nose. Valkyrie grinned to herself and thought, "If I only had my night vision goggles with me..."

As she followed Agust, she realized that he didn't seem to have any issues navigating the darkness. He said, "It's this way."

With her arms extended out in front of her, she moved her hands side to side, as she said, "Wait, hold on. I really can't see much of anything. Is this what it's like to be blind?"

Chuckling at her overdramatic reaction to the dark, he walked over to her side and wrapped an arm around her waist and held her hand in the other, as he guided her.

Valkyrie said, "Thank you."

As they walked on, she could feel gravel under her feet. She commented, "I'm wearing the worst kind of shoes for this terrain."

Without warning, Valkyrie felt Agust scoop her up in his arms, making her yelp in surprise. She protested, "Hey! Put me down. I can walk."

"I'll put you down when you can take off your shoes and walk around."
