I slowly opened my eyes, my head pounding like a jackhammer. I looked around the room, disoriented, and found myself on the bed. But I distinctly remembered sleeping on the couch the night before. How did I end up here? I tried to recall the events of the previous day, and it all came flooding back. I had a panic attack, and everyone came to my aid. The doctor had injected me with a sedative to calm me down.

I stood up, still feeling a bit dizzy, and made my way to the washroom. I brushed my teeth and took a long, relaxing shower to calm my nerves. Today, I had planned to visit the hospital, as it had been a while since my last visit. I dressed in a comfortable shirt and jeans, adding a watch to my left wrist.

As I went downstairs, I was shocked to see my parents and brother sitting in the living room. "Bhai!" I exclaimed, running towards my brother and hugging him tightly. I had missed him so much. Tears of joy streamed down my face as I held him close.

"Princess, how are you? Missed me?" my brother asked, smiling warmly. I nodded, still tearful. "Bhai, I missed you so much," I said, my voice shaking. My brother wiped away my tears, and I hugged him again, feeling a deep sense of comfort.

I then turned to my parents and hugged them tightly, feeling a mix of emotions. "Meri bachi, kaise ho ab tu?" Papa asked, concern etched on his face. "I'm fine, Papa," I replied, trying to reassure him.

"Why didn't you tell me you all were coming?" I asked, pouting slightly. "We wanted to surprise you, Princess," my brother said with a grin. Revansh's mother, Maa, asked about my well-being, and I told her about my headache.

Maa offered to get me a cup of coffee, which helped ease my headache. As we chatted, I looked around the room, searching for Rian, but he was nowhere to be found. "Where's Rian?" I asked Nandini.

"Bhabhi, he went to school early today. There's a function at his school," Nandini replied. Oh, yes! I had promised Rian I would accompany him to the function. I felt terrible for oversleeping. "I promised him I would go with him, and I was sleeping like a duffer," I said, slapping my forehead.

Nandini reassured me that Rian understood I wasn't feeling well. After a while, my parents and brother bid us farewell. "Maa, I'm going to the hospital," I said, getting up from my seat.

"Okay, beta, but try to come back early," Maa said. I nodded and took my purse, heading outside. Revansh was leaning against his car, phone in hand. As I approached, he looked up, our eyes meeting briefly. I quickly looked away.

I didn't notice the brick on the ground and lost my balance, almost falling. But Revansh's quick reflexes saved me, his hand grasping my waist. I opened my eyes to find him holding me, a look of concern on his face. "Don't you think you need specs?" he asked, his tone slightly teasing.
