I sat on the bed with a jerk, it's raining outside heavily and the part I hate the most is thunder. I looked at the clock to see it was 2 am. I looked beside me to see the bed empty.

I went on the terrace and my heart clenched seeing him still standing there in the rain. His body was drenched in the water.

Hearing my voice, he turned to look at me. He smiled looking at me.
I ran towards him and hugged him tightly.
"Why are you still here Ansh? Can't you see it's downpouring? You should have come downstairs. I was just pulling your leg and here yo-," I was saying but he cut off me.
"Shhhh! I'm fine jaana,"He said looking down at me.
"Fine? See you are all wet, your clothes are fully drench in water and you're saying I'm fine. Why didn't you come downstairs when it startee raining huhh?" I asked him to which he smiled.

"Why are you smiling? Answer me ans-," He shut me by putting his finger on my lip.
"You talk too much," He said to which I glared at him.
"And about why didn't I come downstairs so how can I disobey my jaana haan? You gave me punishment which I deserved so what's wrong in this?"
Tears collected in my eyes.
"But it's raining heavily and not only raining but thundering also. Thankgod I woke up and came here what if I hadn't woke up huhh?" I asked him to which he replied,
"So I would have stood here all night before you forgave me," My heart swelled hearing him.

"And I didn't come downstaira for one reason also," He said to which I raised my eyebrow.
"I wanted to feel the pain you felt that night when I gave you the punishment to stay a night on the terrace but then it's start raining heavily and I didn't call you down. I deserve this jaana for hurting you, give you pain, for not giving you respect. The pain you felt that night is nothing in compare to the pain the I felt today. Standing here in the rain is nothing to me but I am feeling pain realising how much I hurted you. The guilt is unbearable jaana, I know you forgave me but how can I forgive myself for hurting a pure soul like you,"Tears started falling from both of us eyes.
