Hudson
I slowly opened my eyes and I could barely see as everything was blurry, I carried my phone from the nightstand and checked the night.
2:49pm
Shit, time hasn't even gone far and it felt like I have been sleeping for 12 hours
I haven't been able to sleep, been rolling on the bed none stop. I switched on the lamb on the nightstand, I heard Moon snoring quietly, it's those type of snores that doesn't annoy you while your sleeping, the ones you barely hear.
I turned my head over to Blue's bed and he wasn't on it, I looked at the bathroom to check if the lights were on but it wasn't on but he might be inside.
I got up to check if he was in the bathroom. "Hello... Blue?" I said yawning but no one answered.
He isn't inside
I wondered where he could be, but my brain couldn't think because I just woke up. The room was stuffy and a bit hot so I decided to go outside.
I opened the door as the cool night breeze filled my face, it was a pleasant evening breeze. I closed the door and walked to the iron barricade that prevented someone to talk to their deaths.
I inhaled and exhaled, feeling good and comfy. I looked over at my left and I saw a human like figure standing by the end of the balcony as fear struck my heart and my eyes cleared up instantly.
What is that? Is it a thief? It is a statute? Was it a entity? A ghost? Cause I don't wanna die now
The figure began to move and it was moving to my direction, I was about to turn back into the room when I tripped on something, I couldn't tell because I landed hard on my butt.
It kept on getting closer and closer, fear didn't allow me to speak or say anything, all that came out of my mouth trembling sounds.
And the lights outside were not on so that even made things worse.
When it got closer, I just close my eyes and accepted my faith, the faith of my dying to this entity.
I waited for it to hit or bite or just do something to me that will be pain related, but nothing happened.
Wanting to open my eyes to see if it was still there, but I didn't want my eyes to be scooped out from the sockets.
"Get up Hudson." Somebody said as I slowly opened my eyes and I saw a hand stretched to my face, my heart moved to my lungs, as I slowly followed the source of the hand until I got to the face and when I saw who it was, I felt stupid and embarrassed.
It was Blue the whole time, I literally disgraced myself in front of Blue and I did not even know.
"Blue? The fuck?!" I shouted as he placed his finger on my lips, stopping me from talking.
"Don't wake the others." He said and I nodded and he removed his finger from my lips.
"You scared the shit out of me, why would you walk to me like that without saying anything?" I asked while whispering to him.
"I don't know, I guess I loved the way you were crawling with fear, it pleased me." He said as I got up and cleaned my body.
"You are sick." I said and he nodded agreeing with me and I just rolled my eyes.
"What are you even doing out here anyways?" I asked him.
"I should ask you the same thing." He said.
"I couldn't sleep, and the room was stuffy, so I came outside for some fresh air." I answered him even though I asked him first. "What about you?" I asked again.
"I have a lot going on in my mind so, it prevents me from sleeping, I decided to come outside and relax my mind." He said as we rest our hands on the barricade.
"Oh, may I ask what kept you up till now?"
"No" He said and I didn't even want to go further.
"Okay, so I have been meaning to ask... Why did you decide to come for this camping trip?" I asked him and he frustratedly groaned.
"Haven't you not asked me this before?" He asked running his fingers through his hair.
"I don't know, I think so." I said not sure if I had asked him or not, ugh whatever.
We stayed in silence and I heard the crickets chirping, an owl hooting, a dog barking in the distance and the breeze moving the trees as they rustle against each other. Everything that makes the night, to be what it is and of course the moon almost on it's fullest.
"Can I ask you something?" Blue broke the silence as I turned my head to him.
"Yeah sure."
"Why don't you feel threatened by me?" He asked and I knitted my brows, was a threatened by Blue? I didn't really know, he is not scary if you get to talk to him, he was nice in his own way.
"I really don't know, I guess I really wanted to be your friend."
"We are not friends." He said.
"Well, I know that, you are tough when it comes to friending you, it's like asking a viper to be friends with you."
"Oh, really... That sounds nice in my ears." Of course he will say that.
"Can I ask you something?" He nodded.
"Why do you still keep talking to me?"
"I am checking to see what knowing new people will feel like, and you are very new to me Hudson." I knitted my brows again not understanding what he said. "What I mean is that you are very interesting, and intriguing, especially when you said you gave up on being friends with me, I actually thought you would stop talking to me but here you are." He said and smiled as my heart fluttered but I was a bit offended.
"Yeah, here I am."
"But your fun to be with... Did you know you slept on my shoulder and wrapped your hands around mine half of the trip?" Blue said as I shot my eyes at him and he laughed.
"What? That didn't happen, I woke up on Dana's shoulder."
"Yeah, I pushed your head to her body when we arrived at this place." He added as I realized that I did have a sharp pain on my head when I woke up.
I gasped.
"You did push my head." He laughed to my late realization.
"It was a funny site." He said and stopped laughing and sighed.
"But wait, you said half of the trip."
"Yeah I did."
"Why didn't you just push my head to Dana?" I asked.
"Well I was about to do it, when you just wrapped your arms around my left arm and you looked peaceful as you slept and kinda cute so I decided to leave you be, but once my shoulder got sore, I pushed your head off immediately." He said looking at the night sky.
Wait... Did he just call me cute? What the fuck?
"Oh, but you would've still pushed my head- "
"And I decided not to." He cut me off and I just nodded and stayed quiet. "Well it's past 3am, we need to rest for our journey tomorrow." He said and I looked at him.
"Yeah, your right... Can I switch on the air conditioner?" I asked him.
"Uhh, yeah... I guess, I don't know why your asking me." He smirked as my heart melted.
"Oh okay, but I was just asking cause- "
"Just go and sleep Hudson." He cut me off again and went inside the room and I sighed, enjoying one last moment with the cold night breeze, then I walked inside the room and locked the door.
