Hudson
When I got there, everyone was already out of their tents and stretching their body, getting ready for today's activities.
I went to the tent to take my phone hoping I wouldn't see Blue inside the tent. As I was about to enter, Moon was coming out of the tent and we both collided into each other.
"Oww." He said rubbing his head. "I didn't see you there."
"Yeah, me too." I rubbed my left shoulder and went inside and he left.
I sighed and carried my phone from inside my bag and crawled back out to meet everyone. I saw Dana, Deborah, by a tree and Moon walking to them as I decided to do the same.
"Hey" I said as I got to them.
"Hey Hud, how are you?" Deborah asked.
"I'm good, I guess." I said with my voice still calm and my mind thinking about Blue. "Can I tell you guys some- "
"Listen up, Students!" Our activities teacher said cutting me off as I didn't continue what I wanted to tell them. He got everyone's attention as the chatter everywhere died down. "Yes much better, thank you." He said.
"Okay?" Someone said in the crowd.
"What we are gonna be doing today students are hiking, to walk off some of the calories in your body, I expect everyone to participate in it, and it will add a good mark to your grades, we begin in an hour, thank you." He said and we to his tent.
The chatter that had died down had continued making the woods be filled with the sounds of teenagers, except from that particular sound.
"So are you guys going?" Moon asked as I drifted away from my thoughts looking at him.
"I don't really know, I mean most of the students here are in shape, I mean I don't get why our school would do this outdoor activity shit, it is very energy taking." I said and they agreed with a nod.
"Well, it's been going great so far, the amount of weight that I have lost these past two days, is what I would lose in a month." Deborah said.
"Yeah, I guess your right, it does help, might as well just do it." I added. "I'll go get some rest and later get ready for the hike, see you girls in an hour." I said as we said our goodbyes and Moon and I went back to our tent.
I got inside the tent and just lied on my sleeping bag as Moon did the same.
Moon sighed. "So you going anywhere on our summer break?" He asked.
"I really don't have where to go, I guess I'll just enjoy the summer at home, I am not sure my family have any plans for travelling, except my dad decides to take us on one of his grand adventures." I responded tiredly.
"Oh, but you can't just stay at home the whole break."
"I know, I am not even sure I will have the- "
"Energy to travel for the summer." We said the same time, like he was reading my thoughts. How did he know that is what I was going to say?
"I know you don't have energy, you say that every year." He added.
"I do?" I said facing my head to him.
"Yes and I know this year, Dana and Debbie won't take no or I have no energy for an answer."
"Okay, okay I'll think about it, besides, we still have two weeks left before our school's break, I will have enough time to think about it and I will give you your answer before then." I spoke in an reassuring manner.
