Chapter 1 : Part 1 - "New faces"

Claire's Pov

I was walking with Engel down the main hallway. It was abit crowded than usual, luckily. While walking, I started a small conversation. While listening to Engel's turn speaking, I saw a glimpse of someone. Someone I should probably not mess with.

"Who's that?" I asked, pointint at a girl that is sitting with Petunia and Lizzy. I wondered who that is. I haven't seen this girl around compass the pass week. Was she a new student like me? If she is. Than how did she get Petunia and Lizzy to be her friends? I look at Engel, I saw the worry in his expression and he looked away.

"... That's Y/n Lee Raine. She's quite it a.. Popular kid, I supposed." He explained.

Popular? Was she here before I was? If yes. Than how did I not notice her? I probably too focused on my homework and other studies to notice her. Still, the dissapearance of Abbie and Lana are still not discovered. I wonder where they are.

"Oookay.. Let's just keep walking then?" I asked, trying to change the subject. Engel smiled once more and nodded. We both continued walking. I decided not to ask further questions. It might upset him..

Y/n Pov

Another day, another idiotic day of a school. I took my phone out of my purse and started scrolling down social media, luckily my dad gave me load, for emergency's. Though, I use it for entertainment. I look over to Petunia, whose eyes widened a little, she shows me what she saw, which was a cute dress.

"Do you think this would look good on me?" She asked, looking at me with excitement in her eyes. She waited for my response. The dress was indeed cute and so is she.

"Of course it will, bestie." I complimented. I wasn't lying. That dress paired with her charming self would match perfectly. I only love my besties as besties, nothing more. Friends are kind or better than lovers. If that's what I've been thinking.

"Hey, have you two know about the new kid?" Lizzy asked. New kid? There's a new student? How come anyone never told me?

"Now I'm interested, whose this new student?" I asked, sarcastically. Lizzy smiled and decided to spill the tea.

"Her names Claire. I saw her hanging out with Engel." Lizzy said. Engel? That smart student? That student that girls call "boyfriend material"? Such a surprise. I wonder if he loves this Claire girl.

"Claire? Has a nice ring to it. Is she pretty?" I asked. It doesn't mean I'm attracted to her, I was just interested. Petunia giggled and shown me a picture of Claire. Her name was unique but her beauty? Pfft, she probably doesn't even know what's beauty is! It's such a pity.

"That's Claire? Hah!" I laughed, my friends laughed with me. I cannot wait to find out the hidden rumors and secrets she's hiding.

Just then, a paper airplane hit the back of my head. I look over my shoulder to see the three knuckle heads: Edward, Zip, and finally Oliver. Those trio are so done if I caught them like this again. So stupid how their trying to pretend they didn't do it. I can clearly know how did it. Such idiots.
