Y/n POV

Another shitty day in school, how great. It was the middle of class, science class. Miss Bloomie was coming up with an assignment for us. Though, you had to have a partner and of course..

"And finally, Y/n and Zip." Miss Bloomie said. I knew it. Why her? Why can't I be with someone else?! The assignment was to make a candle carousel, not like what y'all expected. (Search what a candle carousel is and then come back </3)

The bell rang shortly. It was lunch time. I thought Zip would immediately go with Edward and Oliver. Though, surprisingly, she went to me. "So, any ideas, smartass?" She said. "Oh, shut up. Making a candle carousel is easy." I said. "Yeah, yeah. Easy for Edward and Kevin over there." She said, pointing at Edward and Kevin who were talking in the cafeteria. The two were smartasses, so I won't blame her. "But anyways, is it alright if you like.. Give me your number at least, so we can talk about this on the weekends?" She asked. I was a little skeptical about it. ".. Fine, but promise don't send me those cat videos and send a message after that saying 'us?' Alright?" I said, as Zip nodded.

Eventually, I gave her my number. Cause it's for an assignment. She probably won't even text me that often, like she does with Edward and Oliver. I walked over to my friends, Petunia and Lizzy. They seemed to be already eating. I sat down in a vacant seat with them.

"So, who's y'all partners?" I asked, they sighed and knew their partners wouldn't be good. "I'm partnered up with Skell, that emo cat thing, ya know?" Petunia said, with a hint of sarcasm. "I'm partnered up with Riley, how can I finish this project with her?" Lizzy said. We'll that's worse. "What about you?" Petunia asked. I then sighed. "I'm partnered up with Zip." I said. "Seriously? One of the bullies? Damn, I wish you luck gurl." Petunia said, I let out a small giggle but also appreciated that.
