Y/n POV.

I was in the kitchen, helping Claire make some cookies for everyone. I noticed something missing. Chocolate chips. "Claire, where is the chocolate chips?" I asked, of course, she didn't hear me. I took off the headset and she was immediately confused. "Huh—" "where are the chocolate chips dammit." I said, cutting her off. Claire seem to fear me, like most of the students. "I.. Kind of forgot them-" she said, I face planted til I gotten an idea. "Isn't the store near by sell chocolate chips?" I said. "Yeah, they are still open by now." Claire said. Well thats it. All she has to do was go outside and to the shop near by and come back to Oliver's house, how hard can it be? "Though, it's quite dark outside. So, maybe someone go with you? Just for safety." Claire recommends, I appreciate her concerns but I could handle myself, then again.. It is dark and who knows what lurks in the night? "I guess.." I muttered. I decided to go ask the others if they wanna go with her. Most of them declined. Though..

"I'll come!" I heard behind me and of course, it was Zip and Edward behind her. Maybe Edward wanted to come too? "We. I mean." Zip said, glaring back at Edward. It was clear Edward was forced to come. "Alright, let's go! Plus I have the money for it." I said. Just you know it we were out the door.

I checked where the store might be, it was only a few blocks and across the street. Though the streets seemed dark and sketchy, only light source is the flashlight and the street lamps. "Come on, let's not let the others wait any longer." Edwar said, snatching the flashlight out of my hands. He started walking before me and Zip could. We followed him behind closely.

Zip Pov.

While walking, I had a sudden urge to hold Y/n's hand. It was so random. I looked down at Y/n's hand, just the thought of holding it makes her heart flutter. Though it might make Y/n uncomfortable. Though I did it anyways. I slowly intertwined my fingers with hers. She probably noticed it, since her attention went down towards our hands holding together. Surprisingly, she didn't pull away. I looked back at the main street, hoping Edward didn't see them holding hands, like a couple.

Eventually we spotted the store. Edward stopped and pointed it out. "There it is." He said. "Yeah, we can see it smartass." Y/n said, that's one thing I like about her. She's just so sassy with her words. "Yeah alright." Edward said, sounding annoyed. We look to left and the right closely, before running to the other side of the road. The doors automatically opened. We were greeted by the cold air from the air conditioner. We separated to try and find the chocolate chips. Shortly after, Y/n found them.

Y/n Pov.

"I found it." I said, seeing Zip and Edward talking near the counter. "Finally, come on." Edward said. I felt something burning inside me when I saw Edward talking to Zip, I don't know what it is. Probably something not so important? After checking it out. We got out of the store and immediately went back to Oliver's house.
