"Is it hurting??

Saumya asked worriedly, wiping the traces of blood flowed down to the cheeks when Abhimanyu was running around the room in panic.

Saumya frowned when she didn't get the response.

He was sitting and Saumya was standing in front of him, helping in cleaning up, his head reached her stomach but she was so focused that she didn't feel his intense eyes on her.

Abhimanyu was so lost in admiring his wife from up close.
Her soft palms holding his jaw like some delicate piece. The aroma of dark brown henna is hitting his nose directly.
The nosebleed was for few seconds and he felt nothing but he doubts if Saumya will show up like that every morning, he might suffer from anaemia soon.

He was taking in all the soft features of her face, sharp nose, pink fuller lips, and face devoid of any make up, her long hair still damp and bangs sticking to her cheeks and forehead.

Earlier she hurriedly wore a decent red saree with black full sleeve blouse and started treating her husband in panic.

She had actually forgot that she's a married woman now.

When Saumya felt the eerie silence for a long time, she met his eyes which were already on her admiring closely.

Her breath hitched, she hesitantly looked away and picked up the discarded cottons.

"Biwiji!!

She was walking away when Abhimanyu held her wrist.

"You're really beautiful ".

He said smiling softly at her, she didn't turn around but he saw her shoulders stiffened.

"Isn't it too early to say that. Once you'll know me, I won't be beautiful anymore ".

She mumbled blankly audible enough to Abhimanyu.

His smile fell at her words, and he left her wrist.

He couldn't speak anymore and pondered over whatever she said. One thing he finds out is that his wife is mysterious and he must solve them.

After washing up and discarding wastes,  Saumya stood in front of the mirror of the dressing table, eyes void of any emotion and with a heavy sigh, she looked at all materials she have to start wearing all the time from today onwards.

She hated heavy jewelleries and bunch of bangles, she hated when women have to wear heavy ornaments with veil over their head against their comfort zone.

And now she's also one of those married women.

She applied some simple skin care products and put a small red bindi between her brows. One by one she started wearing the red shining bangles that she had seen in every newly married women's hands. It was too heavy. And finally the necklace adorned with emeralds and heavy gold.
