Saumya yank Abhimanyu's arm away for the nth time. She was getting way too annoyed and cranky even in a small touch.
Abhimanyu knew cuddling would help to lessen down the pain but his cranky wife is pushing him away.
"Biwi ji, I'm telling you if you push me away one more time, I'll tie you up with me".
Abhimanyu scolded Saumya whose back was facing him.
She bit her lips and shifted slightly towards Abhimanyu like a good kid.
Abhimanyu smiled and held her gently. When he felt her stiffened self getting calm, he pulled her more closer and snuggled more into her.
His palm rested over her abdomen and started rubbing it gently.
Saumya sighed in content closing her eyes.
The lights weren't off tonight, guess what, Saumya was feeling restless in darkness.
Being tired from all day writing, she slept peacefully in his arms. Meanwhile Abhimanyu took his time to pat her abdomen.
After almost an hour, he stopped patting and rested his palm there. He smiled feeling her sleeping deeply without any care.
He detached himself from her and was going to turn the lights off when his eyes fell on Saumya's bare waist, not on her waist precisely but a dark brown scar running from her lower waist till the abdomen.
His fists tightened recalling the accident that gave her this scar. He scrunched his eyes shut and inhaled deeply.
"You suffered a lot, Sunshine".
He mumbled running his fingers on that scar.
Shaking his head, he turned the lights off and slept hugging his wife.
The next morning,
Abhimanyu woke up first and found Saumya clinging to him tightly. Her hairs sprawled and falling over his face. She was sleeping all over him.
He smiled rubbing his eyes and gently pulled away.
Covering her with the duvet and kissing her forehead, he went to do the morning routine and then gym.
Daksh and Arjun were already present there.
"Good morning Bhai. Bhabhi thik hai?
(Is sis in law fine)
"Yeah, she's alright ".
"What happened to her?
Daksh asked.
"Female issues".
Daksh nodded in understanding and continued doing his pull ups.
After hitting the gym, Abhimanyu went back to his room, and found Saumya still sleeping like a starfish on whole bed.
