When I thought a lady couldn't get more beautiful, there she was, my wife, proving all my theories wrong.
I don't want to accept whatever my heart wants to claim but I don't have control over it.
Draped in golden saree with red hues in borders, she's looking like some goddess. I want to say it out loud but she's upset with me and guess the reason.
It's too stupid....
Just because I didn't listen to her when she was asking me to get up from floor when I was helping her with her saree.
"Shaadi ke dusre dinn hi naraz ho gayi aap toh".
I teased her, wearing my wrist watch, while she was busy doing her hair.
"That's where you're wrong. I'm upset with you since the moment you married me. And remember I'm not going to forgive you easily ".
"We'll see".
I smirked, winking at her through the mirror, she passed me a glare.
That was cute.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. I know how all men are. First they'll show their good side and then throw the women out like trash".
She said while gritting her teeth. The rage in her voice was evident.
It caught me off guard.
Those words aren't any result of rage but they hold some deep meaning behind them. Either she was talking about her past experiences or something had happened that made her blurt those words out.
I had seen her profile, she didn't has any relationships.
I looked at her for few minutes blankly, tried to read her eyes but she masked everything smoothly.
Before I could ask, someone knocked at the door loudly. Not knocking but banging at the door impatiently.
"Who is this. I'm going to beat them if it's Arjun or Daksh".
I hissed and went to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, someone pushed me harshly making me stumble back.
I was about to shout back, but my eyes widened...
Aastha is standing right in middle of the room looking here and there. She spotted Saumya near the dressing table and smiled widely.
"Bhabhi maaaa!!! Hayyee!!! Aapka hi toh wait thaaa!!!
She sang and hugged my wife tightly, like her life depends on it.
Saumya smiled awkwardly unable to grasp the moment, when I decided to butt in.
"Saumya, she's my younger sister Aastha, to be precise, Daksh's real sister and the heart of this family".
