Abhimanyu made a boring face, rolling his eyes at over excited siblings, friends and his wife. What is so special in this truth or dare game?
He didn't want to participate but was pulled by Rayan. It was hard for him to believe that the man who was known for not showing interest in these mere games and maintain distance from the gatherings is now pulling him for a petty game himself.
Saumya frowned at her husband showing disinterest in the game.
"Well, whosoever don't want to play can quit now, no players can leave the game in between until they're eliminated itself".
Saumya said gaining everyone's attention. She particularly spoke for Abhimanyu. He understood that this was for him.
He smirked and settled on the bench looking slyly at his wife.
"There's no one who doesn't want to play though".
Few were sitting on the grass, forming an arc around the bench, while Abhimanyu, Rayan and Prity were settled on the bench. Due to pregnancy, sometimes Prity get cramps so she was asked to sit there.
The elders had went to some relative's function. It's almost dark and Aastha proposed for a bonfire.
Everyone liked the idea and poor Tarun was send to grab the things needed for bonfire.
"Woahh I'm feeling so excited, we should plan for a vacation or family trip someday".
Prity chimed, clasping her hands together.
"Right, I'm in!!
"Oh madam we haven't yet planned for the trip and already shouting I'm in!!
Daksh teased Aastha in a mocking voice.
She hit his bicep lightly and whined with a huge pout on lips. She was sitting beside Daksh.
Nancy followed Tarun to help him, since she also pities the young boy like Saumya.
When Nancy returned with the materials, Saumya signalled Aastha from her eyes to get up and make space beside Daksh.
Saumya herself was standing near the bench, Aastha signalled her to come and sit beside her, she smiled and was about to walk when Abhimanyu caught her wrist stopping her from moving. She turned her head to look at him with a frown.
"Sit on my lap".
He said with his iconic teasing smirk and a raised brow, pointing towards his lap.
Saumya travelled her eyes hesitantly to others who were teasingly coughing and passing them side eyes. Her cheeks were whole red and words weren't able to be form after his unexpected shameless act.
She yanked her hand away and shot him a glare before stomping away towards Aastha.
