Flowery - Jinkook

#21 - Sold

The quartet now sitting around Seokjin's work desk preparing the set up for the launch. Seokjin was doubly anxious with Jungkook at his side that makes him kinda lost unsure what needs to be done. Jungkook noticing it, extended his hand to hold Seokjin's left hand and gave an assuring grip. Seokjin turns to look at Jungkook's doe eyes, then looked down at their hand contact, he feels less tensed knowing that Jungkook somehow giving him the moral support he needed despite everything.

JK: Relax. Just do as per normal. 

Jin: I'll try. 

JK: Great. Someone please run through with Jin on the checklist?

NJ: Sure. Jinnie, have you set the time for your webpage display?

Jin: Yes. I did.

Jimin: Have you done your write up for insta post and story?

Jin: I have it on standby. Once strike 9pm, I'll post the photos, reels and then re-post at igstory.

NJ: Is your stock check team ready?

Jin: Yes. Hyeri messaged me they're in office and will be monitoring the sales.

JK: Hmm...Anything else?

Jimin: That's all. You're good to go, Jinnie. I'm curious what's the storyboard this time! And JK, you got some sense coming here with the outfit. 

NJ *whispered to Jimin*: You had to?

JK: Of course. I'm the model for Flowery.

Jimin: WHAT???

JK: You didn't know? Jin, standby on the phone. You need to post it in 3... 2... 1...

Jungkook couldn't believe it. His sets were sold out in mere minutes. Seokjin was tearing joys of happiness seeing his new launch collection and the last minute risk he took in changing his target audience was all worth it. Jimin and Namjoon were hyping up, reading all the positive comments from their phones. The sales and engagement level indicates the launch was a success.

Jimin: Jinnie!!! You're blooming yet again tonight!!! I'm so proud of you!!!

Jin: Thanks Jiminie~ 

NJ: By the way, JK you're a natural. No offence Jin, he wore it well that for once I thought I should buy it for myself.

JK: Uh... thanks?

Jin: Yes, he's a natural. Joonie, there's a reason why he's my pick. It's a risk since my target has always been for ladies. Hopefully, now it would widen up my range of customers.

Jimin: You're such a smarty biz. I approved of JK being the model. JK, if you need an agency, let me know, I can link you up.

JK: Not interested.

Jimin: Of course. He's hooked on Flowery.

NJ: Since it's a success, me and Jiminie will make our move. Jungkook nice to meet you. I'm Namjoon, by the way in case I forgot to introduce myself.

Jimin: Wha- 

Namjoon had no choice to lift Jimin up, since he was not moving. Namjoon decided they had done enough trouble for those two and they'll leave in peace.

Jin: He's my childhood friend and they're together. Thanks for coming guys.

JK: Let me walk you out, Namjoon and shorty. 

Jimin gave up. He could only blew flying kisses to Seokjin and then not forgetting, shooting daggers at Jungkook for calling him shorty.

The room was quiet after the two left. Jungkook went to the dining table and wanting to take the plates to reheat since the pasta turns cold. Before he could lift, he was intercepted by Seokjin who took the plates from him. 

Jin: You've done a lot. Please sit. Let me reheat our dinner.

JK: Hmm... kay. Do you want to eat the dessert now or later?

Jin: There's dessert? 

JK: Yeah. I bought cupcakes, it's in the fridge.

Jin: Sure. 

JK: Now or later?

Jin: We can plate everything now. So we don't need to keep moving in between meals.

Jungkook nodded and went to the fridge to take out two mini cupcakes. He then placed one cupcakes for Seokjin, and the other for himself. He then went to his backpack and took out a lighter and a mini candle. He then placed the candle in the middle of Seokjin's cupcake. He then took out a wine bottle and pour it on each glass. 

Seokjin came back to the dining table with hot pasta and his eyes widened seeing the set-up. Once he placed the plates and took a sit, Jungkook stood up and brought his lighter to light up the candle. He then ushered Seokjin to make a wish and blow the candle to commemorate his official launch.

JK: Congrats on your launch, Jin.

Jin: Thank you for preparing everything.

JK: I would've prepare more, if I knew you're handling an official launch and not just a submission of your side project.

Jin: Honeybee... I'm sorry... not everyone knows about this. And I want to keep it as private as much as possible. Even my parents knew about this after a few months. I only knew you for a few weeks, so I was a bit guarded.

JK: Nothing to be sorry about. You had the right to protect Flowery. I'm not paying you back that $600.

Jin: Of course. You're not. You worked hard for it.

JK: Right. But in future, I don't accept any payment from you. 

Jin: I understand if you're not going-

JK: Who says I will stop modelling for Flowery?

Jin: But-

JK: No. I'm firm on that Jin. But you can give me some discount for when I purchase the clothes for my mom.

Jin: Sure, honeybee. 

JK: You've got a call.

Jin: Oh. It's my parents. It's a video call. You just tone down on your munchies, kay?

JK: Go on. I'll mu- nch- sl- low- ly-

Jin: Stop making me laugh!

Seokjin adjusted his hair and on his video call. His parents, Jisoo and Hae-in waved enthusiastically once they're connected.

Jin: Hi Mom! Hi Dad! I missed you guys!

Jin Mom: We missed you too, love! I'm so proud of you! Congratulations!

Jin Dad: Yeah! Congratulations on the boyfriend reveal! Who is he?

Jin Mom: Oh! Yes, why are you gatekeeping your boyfriend? 

Jungkook coughed hearing the remarks by Seokjin's parents. Seokjin embarrassed by his parents, move away from the dining table and walked towards the balcony.

Jin Dad: Why are you moving around? Is your boyfriend there?

Jin Mom: Must be. Awww~ My baby has a boyfriend~

Jin: Mom... Dad... He's not my boyfriend!

Jin Mom: Baby, you're not a good liar~ 

Jin: Really. I swear. We're not together.

Jin Mom: Fine. At least give me a name to this guy. I won't ask for more.

Jin: He's name is Jung- Junho. Yeah. Jung Junho!
