#40 - Shy

Seokjin was seemingly anxious having to meet Jungkook. This was not the same hype man Jungkook that he has learnt to adapt, this will be *ahem* boyfriend Jungkook that Seokjin will be meeting for the first time after the abrupt declaration.

From far, he saw Jungkook leaning against his motorbike with his mobile phone on hand. Somehow with the evening sunlight glow made his physical outlook look even more boyfriend material. Geez. Stop mentioning boyfriend Seokjinnie! He clutched his helmet and walked shyly towards his boyfriend. Ahhh!! He can't help it!

Jin: Hi...I'm here.

JK: Okay. Get on. 

Jin: Huh? Okay.

Seokjin blinked and scratched his head as Jungkook hopped on his bike. Like that declaration didn't happen. Seokjin tilt his head in trying to recall if that declaration did happen. Or was it a dream all along? 

JK: Babe? Aren't you getting on?

Jin: Erm. Yeah. Give me a second. I just need to send a quick message.

Seokjin turns away from Jungkook, quickly took out his phone flashlight and pointed to his inner helmet. There! Honeybee's Babe is there!

JK: Do you like that engraving that much?

Jin: Stop scaring me! I'm not looking at that! I- I-

JK: Suddenly forgot that you need to send a ghost message to yourself, babe?

Jin: I already send the message! Now move! Hmph!

JK: Aish... My boyfriend is flustered huh? Caught in a lie~

Seokjin couldn't suppress his smile as he hold Jungkook's shoulder to adjust his sit. He then leans in and back-hugged a little tighter than before. Technically, they're officially boyfriends so he can touch his boyfriend's abs. Seokjinnie! Since when you're an opportunist!

The ride home was a breeze. They shyly walked hand in hand and everything was great... till both their parents were there at the lobby. Jungkook was concern as Seokjin suddenly froze seeing his parents and the guests. Somehow the guest looks a tad similar to...

Jin: Omma? Appa?

JK *muttered*: Holy shit!

Jin Mom: Surprise Jinnie!!! And you, son must be Jung Junho right! Son you look way better in person! Please do join us for meals someday!

JK: Erm. Yeah. Welcome to Seoul? Aunty? Uncle?

JK Mom: Oh boy. Jinnie-ya, why not you help your parents settle down first k. Jisoo-ya, don't be alarmed, that's my son. Jeon Jungkook. I'll brief you later, or maybe Jinnie will?

Jin Mom: Omo!!! Omo!!!

Seokjin had to come clean to his parents, updating them of his life and about his boyfriend. His parents thankfully were welcoming the news very well, since they knew the Jeon's family and knowing how Jeon's parents has been treating him well. After lots of catching up and cuddles with his parents - well don't judge, cause this was the only time he can act like a kid even when he's already in mid 20s and he don't intend to stop. He finally retreat to his room and took out his mobile phone and holy moly flowery~ what in the world. 100+ messages from Jungkook?

He scrolled through and apparently it's a repetitive messages of I miss you 🥺

Seokjin couldn't help but to cooed by Jungkook's cuteness. With his fluffy pyjamas, he took a selfie and send to Jungkook, with a caption, missing you too, honeybee 🥹

That got an immediate reaction from Jungkook. Next moment, Seokjin received a video call from Jungkook.

JK: Babe? Why am I seeing the window?

Jin: Hello? Let me switch the camera. Now see me, honeybee?

JK: Yeah~ Hi babe?

Jin: You're not happy to see me? 

JK: I am. Just that today is our first day and I thought, you know... Should I quietly come over?

Jin: Not tonight, honeybee. My parents are still wide awake, you know with the jet lag and all...

JK: I see. So who's Jung Junho? 

Jin: Oh! You're playing this game huh? Then I guess, I'm Jiwon? 

JK: Aish~ She had to spill everything huh?

Jin: You know they're besties right? Of course they will spill everything~

JK: You look happy. You must've missed them a lot huh?

Jin: Of course. They're my everything. 

JK: Must've been tough being away from them for so long. Sorry, I should've been nicer to you back then.

JK: I know we're just starting. But seeing your parents here, I can't help it. Are you leaving Seoul?

Jin: Hmm... actually, I'm on foreign exchange programme for six months. And now, I'm left with two months here...

Jin: Kookie... if you want to call it off... I can understand...

JK: What nonsense you talking about? Let's... let's just spend this 2 months and we shall see where it would lead us to okay, babe?

Jin: Really?

JK: Really. Now stop crying you cry baby... You shouldn't cry on your first online date with me.

Jin: Online date? You're so-

JK: Annoying~ Babe you need to expand your vocabulary, you know?

Jungkook placed his phone on a stand, took a step back and teasingly lifted his hoodie.

Jin: *gasped*

Seokjin immediately cut off the line. Is he crazy? Thirsty trap at this hour? What's wrong with him? Why is the room so hot right now? Aish! Jeon Jungkook!

Jungkook simply falls back on his bed after the call. There's a lot of things going through his mind right now. Why is he so dumb? He knew right from the start Seokjin would leave so why he let himself fall hard for Seokjin. Now what? He still have many years to graduate and Seokjin no matter what had to complete his other semester back at his hometown.

Would this work? Heck. Why is relationship so complicated?

Just then. He received a message from Seokjin.

Jin: Sweet dreams, Honeybee 🥰

Fuck it. Two months? He'll make it worth every single time. Whatever comes, it'll comes.

JK: Sweet dreams to you too, babe 🥰
