In the heart of the midst of winter in Arendelle, a girl named Elsa Winter was born with the powers of ice and snow. She lived in a large castle with her parents and her little sisters, Anna and Ingrid. Ingrid also inherited her mother's powers, but unfortunately the younger sister did not. Even though the younger sister didn't inherit any abilities from her mother, she still supported her two sisters.
But as they grew older, their father told them a little story. As the King knocked the sister's door, he found them sitting on the floor playing with Elsa's snow, making little figurines. "Girls, time for bed," he said, with a small smile creeping up on his lips. Elsa groaned softly.
"But I don't want to, I'm not even....," she paused as she lifted her arms and yawned softly while tilting her head back. Agnarr chuckled. "To bed, Elsa." He said, in a soft tone.
"Mommy, tell us a story, please!" Ingrid asked her mother. Their mother sighed softly, before she gave a small smile.
IDUNA'S POV:
"Okay, come on. Cuddle close." Iduna says as she scooted back to Elsa's bed. "Are you sure about this? Telling them about-" Agnarr paused as she interrupted him.
"It's time they know, Agnarr. They're going to know how or another." Iduna replied.
"Okay," Iduna started. "Once upon a time, in a far away land, in a kingdom of the North Pole; there were four seasons...." She told them as she paused as she looked at Anna.
"What are they?" Anna asked.
"Well, if you sit down, stay still and let me finish, I'll tell you the rest," Iduna said to Anna and poked her nose.
Anna giggled. "Okay, mama." Anna said.
Iduna continued the story.
"In that land, they were the protectors of the children, in every state. Well, not all of them anyway. One day, a man, named Jack Frost, appeared in the North Pole — helping the children — with the Toothfairy, North, and Bunny." Iduna looked at Agnarr, and smiled.
"But then... a strange mists appeared on the North Pole's globe in the hideout of their own home..." she paused once more."What kinda of mists?" Elsa and Ingrid asked.
Iduna chuckled. "Black sand is what they called it. They named him: Pitch Black. He's the children's most fearsome man in their land of the mountains." Iduna replied.
"Woah..." Anna says.
"But until then, they locked him away in his sacred palace, never foreseen again." She replied to Anna.
Elsa's eyes widened as she looked at her mother. "Do you think he'll ever wake up again," Elsa asked, as her eyes saddened softly. "Only time will tell, Elsa." Iduna replied to her.
"And on that note, how about we go to bed now," Aganarr says to the girls, and smiles as he got up.
"Oh... but I still have so many more questions!" Anna whined. "Save them for another night, Anna." Agnarr replied.
As the girls head to bed, Iduna looked at Aganarr. "Do you think they'll be ready for the future, whatever it may be bring?" Iduna asked him in a concerned voice.
"They'll be fine, Iduna. They can take care of themselves." He replied.
