"Okay, so we got a red saree for Aunty and a matching red kurta for Uncle, a black kurta and pajama for Rishabh, and a little white kurta for the little guy. Now what do you suggest for Roshan?" Atharv gave me a big sly grin obviously teasing me.
"You have chosen everything for everyone go ahead and get something for him too and then we'll leave it's already past twelve." I shrugged it off. I am not even sure if he'll wear it, what's the point of putting in effort?
"Come on girl! Loosen up a little." He nudged my arm. "He's your to-be-" Before he could finish I slapped his shoulder.
"I dare you to complete that sentence." I glared at him and he put his arms up in the air to surrender.
"Alright, I'm not picking a fight with the cat." He mumbled the last part to himself but I heard it anyway. I sighed heavily. The day had just begun and I was already very tired. Didn't really have the energy to argue with him, maybe it has to do with the fact that I have not even drunk a drop of water since morning. I had kept my fast without water, anything for my Shiva.
"Is it all sir?" The shopkeeper asked Atharv and he looked at me. I looked at the kurtas lying in front of me and picked a light green one and handed it over to him. Then an idea crossed over my mind.
"Have you gotten a trouser for him?" I asked Atharv.
"Nope but there we go this white one will do." He replied picking up a pair of white trousers.
"No, keep that down," I told him and he looked at me confused.
"Then?"
I shifted my attention to the shopkeeper. "We'll get a dhoti with this and that's all." The shopkeeper nodded and left.
"But Palak--" Atharv began but I cut him off.
"Come on this will be fun." An evil smirk was tugging my lips. He didn't say anything and just shook his head in amusement.

With a basket of deep pink rose petals in hand Ragini was walking through the hallways of the Routray villa. With a bright smile on her lips and brown org eyes which sparkled with delight. She was so lost in herself that she didn't even realize when she collided with someone, the basket from her hands flew up in the air and the rose petals fell straight on Rishabh with Ragini in his arms.
How romantic!
But for Ragini, it wasn't romantic at all. She quickly pushed Rishabh away as he carried some kind of communicable disease and looked at the rose petals that had fallen all around them in the process.
"You!" She screeched. "Look at what you have done!" Her loud yell brought Rishabh back from his daze. For a second he almost lost himself in her beauty. He was affected by her, attracted to her but that was something he'd never admit out loud. But it was also true that she was the obnoxious girl who broke his phone, threw lemonade at his face, and ruined his favorite jacket. Although it wasn't enough to make him hate her after all how could he? When she was so damn gorgeous.
"Are you feeling well?" He asked the most ridiculous question and Ragini frowned.
"why what happened to my health?" She questioned back.
