Jael's Point of View

I said out of nowhere. Agad iyong kinontra ni Ross.

"No. Never. Never in my life, baby. I will never get tired of telling you how beautiful you are," he said firmly.

The car came to a stop at a red light. Ross turned to look at me. The way he looked at me made it seem like I had just asked the dumbest question ever, with a hint of hurt in his eyes.

"I'm hurt that you said that, baby. But, damn. From the start, it's always been you. How could I look at anyone else? No one is more beautiful or better than you. No one," he said, his voice husky.

"I don't care about them, love. My heart is completely yours. No one can replace you. Your name is engraved in my heart," he added, his voice almost breaking. I felt a pang of guilt.

"Don't doubt my love for you, baby. It's endless..."

Ross took a deep breath, his eyes softening but still holding a trace of sadness. "I fell in love with you because of your personality, the way you smile, how your eyes look so stunning and soft. I fell in love with you because you are you, and I don't want anyone else except you."

"From the first day, I knew it was you. You're the only woman I see myself growing old with and building a happy family. So please, don't think about anyone else," he said gently, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers.

"I am so grateful because I found you, my missing rib."

I looked down, feeling that familiar flutter in my stomach. Ross' words were always so heartfelt, making me feel so cherished and loved.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, squeezing his hand. "I just can't help but worry sometimes."

Ross leaned in, his forehead touching mine. "You don't have to worry, baby. I'm not going anywhere. You're my everything."

The traffic light turned green, and Ross started driving again, but his hand never left mine. In that moment, I felt a renewed sense of security and love. No matter what fears I had, Ross's words and actions always reassured me that I was the one for him.

"Pwede tayo huminto doon saglit?"

"Of course, baby." Aniya.

"Do you want me to just buy nalang or you want to come with me?" he asked.

"I'll go with you po."
