"So, Ash.. How long have you two been together?" Nuviah asked.

"About a while now.." He blushed. "Maybe two months."

"Two months, one week, three days, seventeen hours, fifty-four minutes and thirty-three seconds. But who's counting?" Goh answered.

"Wow." Leon smiled. "Ash Ketchum is gay."

"Yeah, I am.. It feels so good to say that. Though most people haven't been very.. accepting."

"Like who?" Nuviah  frowned. "I'll kill them with my bare hands. And a sledgehammer." 

Hop raised his eyebrow. "You know, it's not really with your bare hands if you use a.." Nuviah glared at him. "..never mind."

Ash laughed. "Well.. people like Lillie. I think she had a crush on me. And I haven't talked to Serena since I came out.. She might be mad at me."

Nuviah facepalmed "You think?! Ash! Can you really be this-" 

"Dense? Yeah, he's broken records.." Goh rolled his eyes. "He didn't even know I liked him! It was so obvious. Even the professor figured it out before him."

"But you still love me, don't you?"

Goh sighed. "Yes. Yes I do."

"Anyway... Enough about us. What's going on with you two?" Ash looked at Leon and Sonia.

"You who?" Sonia raised her eyebrow at him.

"You and Leon!"

"What I don't know what you're talking about we're just friends nothing more don't ask that!!!"

"Sonia's right, Ash. We're not interested in each other like that. But maybe-"

"Yeah, what he said!!" Sonia huffed, crossing her arms in an attempt to look intimidating.

"Yeah, totally.." Ash said under his breath. "Even I'm not that stupid."

"What was that?!" Sonia glared.

"Nothing, nothing!" Ash smirked. Goh snickered at his boyfriend's antics.

Sonia sighed to herself and looked over at Leon. He smiled softly as he watched the trees swaying in the breeze, his muscular form relaxed. "He's beautiful," Sonia thought, studying the dreamy look in his eyes. "I wonder what he's thinking about..?" 

Meanwhile, in Leon's Mind..

Dude was having a straight panic.

"Does she know I'm thinking about her oh my gosh she's so pretty everyone keeps getting in the way ugh what do I doooooo"

That's when Leon noticed that Sonia was staring at him.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing don't worry about it!!" Her face flushed. She smacked her face with both hands. "Get your head out the clouds, Sonia! He's not into you! And now he must think I'm some kind of creep because I was staring at him!!"

In Hop and and Nuviah's many shared thoughts..

"Tf is up with these guys?? Just kiss already!"

Ash and Goh shared a look. "Maybe there are certain developments between these two that we have yet to be part of.."
