Kat really needed to get out of the house. She desperately needed to get away from her kids and husband. But, most importantly, she needed to get away from her mother.

That's why she was here. At some big artists album launch party, or whatever the hell this was. She still had no idea why she was invited. All the other guests seemed to be big time celebrities. She was sitting at the bar, her back facing the bartender.

The blonde woman next to her leaned towards her, "The host thanks you for coming." She whispered to Kat.

Kat raised an eyebrow as she took a sip of her drink, giggling, "She does?" She tilted her head at the blonde, who nodded.

"Yeah, she told me personally." Kat might have been drunk, but the woman seemed to be proud of what she said.

Kat looked around, confused, "Wait, where is she?"

The woman chuckled, "Right next to you." She tucked a strand of her mid-length blonde hair behind her ear.

Kat turned to look on the other side of her. No one. That meant one thing, she was talking to the host of the party.

"You?" She asked, pointing at the blonde.

The host simply nodded, pointing to herself and mouthing and excited "ME!"

She was pretty, like really pretty. At least to Kat she was. No, you have a husband. But she was so pretty.

Kat was walking the streets of New York, drunk as hell as she made her way to the hotel she was staying in. She hadn't told anyone she was flying up to New York for a few days, and Josh didn't have her location.

Was he supposed to? Yes. Was Kat ever going to give it to him? Fuck no.

But still, she had left her husband with their children, all the way back home. She was a horrible mother. Mothers were supposed to be there for their kids. But Kat wasn't.

Her mother, Alayna, hadn't been there for her either though, had she? She'd been there for Star and Katlynn, but never for Kat or Johnny.

She was snapped out of her thoughts by someone touching her shoulder. She turned around to face a man in his mid 40s. Fuck. It was him. The last person Kat wanted to see.

"Whatchya doin' all the way out here?" He had a slight country accent, but under that his voice was smooth. "Shouldn't you be performin' in some Atlanta club?"

Kat only stared up at him, completely at a loss for words, "H-haw" Was all she managed to choke out as he wrapped his arms around her body.

She could feel his warm breath on her neck as he pressed against her. "Aw, the little sluts all tongue tied, ain't she?" He whispered into her brown hair.

Kat could feel herself shaking under his touch as he traced shapes along her back. She knew she shouldn't have worn an open backed dress. She knew she shouldn't have come to New York.

Just then, his body pulled apart from hers as two men dressed in black suits pryed him off her. Kat looked around, her body still shaking.

"Are you ok sweetie?" It was the woman from the party, the host, the one she'd had a few drinks and chatted with.

Kat could feel herself collapsing as she simply shook her head, "N-no..."

She woke up with the worst headache in an apartment she didn't recognize. She looked at her phone, shit, she had a flight to catch in 4 hours.

She quietly left whoever's apartment she was in and went to get her stuff from her hotel room.

The flight home was peaceful, but the returning home wasn't. That was anything but peaceful. That was just Alayna yelling at her, Skylar ignoring her, and James crying.

Kat thought about the woman at that party a lot. Way too much for someone who had a girlfriend. But she was so pretty, so nice, so, so, memorable.

One could say she was enchanted to meet her. And there was no way Taylor Swift thought about her at all.
