The moment she landed in Monaco, she was in total awe. Pictures and post cards doesn't give this little country enough justice. There was no specific reason why she picked Monaco. She just wanted to leave as soon as she can so she randomly searched for a country that impose a strict policy with regards to paparazzi and media and the first country that came out was Monaco. One look at the country was enough for her to book a flight in an instant. It was a perfect place for her. It was a very small population and she would have privacy that she desperately needed.

The airport was crowded but it was very different from what she was used to. The Incheon airport was usually filled with many locals, tourist and press reporters trying to catch a glimpse of the local celebrities but in here, despite the constant in and out of people, it was very peaceful.

One more thing that she noted was that the travel time from the airport to her new house was very short. She was in luck when she found a house that was listed for sale. Her offer was immediately accepted and was able to close the deal quicker than she had expected.

The selling factor of this house was that it is a part of a very secure neighborhood were high profile individuals lived. Since she started very young in the industry, she didn't have much free time to watch sports or movies. She mostly spent her time training and composing music. It didn't matter who her new neighbors were because she probably wouldn't recognize them at all.

Monte Carlo didn't disappoint. It lived up to the glitz and glamor she expected. It hasn't even been a full day and yet she already knew that living here won't be as easy as she wanted it to be. Everything looked expensive, the clothes, the food and the neighborhood itself. She knew that it was probably the price she needs to pay to have the tranquility she desperately want.

She was still taking everything when she was snapped out of her thoughts by an energetic girl who looked very excited.

"You must be katrina, Welcome to the neighborhood"

"Hello good morning" she politely greeted back the lady who was probably around her age or maybe a little bit younger.

"I'm Sofia, My family lives across your house. It's so nice to finally have another girl here" She explained in French. Sofia might've noticed that  she can't understand her so she translated it in english.

"Hi Sofia, My name is Katrina. I am so sorry that I can't speak french, I am actually not from here. Can I ask how you knew my name?" she asked nervously.

"Oh sorry, did I freak you out? I just assumed you know how to speak french. Monte Carlo is a small district, people usually know each other here. The previous owners of that house was a friend of my family and they told us you'll be moving in. They asked me to help you get settled"

"You don't have to do it Sofia, I don't want to cause you any trouble"

"No worries, I could use the presence of another woman in this neighborhood" she laughed jokingly. This has been the second time that sofia mentioned being the 'only girl' in the neighborhood.

"You mentioned that before, what do you mean by that?" This time the curiosity got the best of Katrina so she finally asked.

"I was born and raised here and most of the occupants of this neighborhood excluding the elders were men. You don't have to worry, they are all nice and they don't even stay here most of the time"

"Really? these houses looked too expensive to be unoccupied"

"People who wants to escape the limelight usually stay in this part of Monaco."

"Are they high profile or something? They aren't dangerous right?"

"You don't have to worry about them, I've met all of them and they were all decent people. The only complain I have is that whenever they are home, be prepared for loud noises, they either party or play their video games loudly"

"That's noted"

Sofia was about to say something when she suddenly stopped

"Why what's wrong?"

"I talked too much. Mom told me to help you get settled, where are your luggage, let me help you" she offered once again.

"I didn't bring much with me. I figured I'll just buy new stuff here"

"I know a lot of good places to shop. If it's okay with you, do you want me to show you around?"

"I would love that. Thank you so much for being nice to me"
