It was just as bad as I remembered.
The smell of the corpse, the absence of light, and the ominous objects around us added to the
eerie atmosphere.
Nevertheless, we began searching the area.
We were hustling here and there when I stumbled upon a cabinet full of different meds and
chemicals...
It was open so I looked inside
Most of them were half-filled, empty, and covered in dust.
“Ayama, I found it,” Rai called out to me
In the dim candlelight, Rai stumbled upon a table filled with identical-looking daggers, none of
which were arranged neatly.
“ I think Dragger came from here..”
Rai said with a confident look on her face
“ Why though?”
Ayudha asked.
“ See these”
Rai pointed at the handle of the dagger which was marked with a a number
See there were 8 draggers here
1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 but 5 is missing and these 5 were the ones we found at the crime scene so it really
came from here.

“Now that makes sense,”
Ayudha said as he left the secret room, and we followed him

Everyone was already assembled in Bhavan
“Did you all complete your investigation?”
Rai asked, and everyone nodded in response.
" So- "
Rai was about to say something when the screen lit up
"Hello hello! "
The masked guy made his entrance at the most unexpected time.
“ Oh my! You guys seem down. What happened? Let me guess it finally happened didn’t it ?”
Without regard for our feelings, he started talking as usual.
“ Don’t mess with us right now, we don’t have time to play your games.”
Ranav with an uninterested look on his face tried to brush off the masked guy.
“ But you are already playing my game and it started today.”
No one was able to refute it
“ What do you want ?”
Rai asked after a brief pause
“ Don’t be so hasty, I’m here to watch over everything that is to happen.”
The masked guy said while leaning on his chair.
“ Guys let’s move out of here, we don’t need a nuisance here”
Nitya suggested and started to move out
But the door of the Bhavan locked down.
She pulled with her all night but the door didn’t Bulge
“ You aren’t going out until you find the culprit.”
With an intimidating voice, he dimmed the lights around him
“ Oh there’s one thing I forgot to tell you all”
Everyone turned their eyes toward the masked guy who was about to reveal something
“ I said before that you can find the culprit and leave it, that’s up to you but it comes with a
condition.. our gods aren’t that merciful to leave you guys alone. If you fail to find the culprit then
our gods will drag you all one person per night to the river until no one is left. That’s how it has h
always been”
With a pretty laid-back attitude, he revealed something important to us
“ You fucker! You should have revealed something this important before.”
Ranav shouted at the top of his lungs.
“ Calm down Ranav. We just have to find the culprit then there’s nothing to worry about.”
Rai tried to calm down Ranav
“ I wonder if it’s all going to be okay.”
Masked guy remarked.
“ Can you just shut up for a minute?”
Rai asked or rather ordered.
The mood was heavy in the Bhavan with more things to unravel and with no to less evidence.
But Ranav wasn’t the only one who was frustrated with their situation.
“ It’s one thing after another. This is so frustrating.”
Aashwith said his negative thoughts out loud.
“ I wish I wasn’t here to begin with.”
With this a turmoil of negative emotions brewed in the Bhavan
The one who put a stop to it was Ira
“ Stop you all just Stop!”
Everyone who was saying out loud their negative emotions came to a halt.
“ Someone among us was brutally murdered just a few hours ago, and the killer is still among us,
pretending to be an innocent bystander. Can you tolerate this? Because I can’t, I can’t forgive
someone
who selfishly killed someone. I’ll help in the investigation and discussion to find the culprit unlike
you all!”
Ira who was weeping from the point we found Alida’s body now took a stand and let everyone
feel the frustration of not being able to do anything for Alida who was brutally murdered.
“ You are right. We can’t succumb to this. We’ll overcome this together, right guys?”
Aashwith tried to raise everyone’s morale
One by one everyone agreed to cooperate and find the culprit between us
“ Oh my how touching”
Masked guy said with a gesture of wiping away his tears but no one gave him a reaction.
“ So should we start the discussion?”
Rai asked everyone
And they nodded.
The mood of the bhavan shifted from a heavy one to a serious one
It was finally the time to find the one real truth behind this case and bring peace to Alida who
passed away.

Everyone sat in a circle formation making sure everyone’s face was clear to see.
“ So should we start ?”
Rai asked
Nitya raised her hand
“ Yes, Nitya ?”
With a bit of hesitation in her voice, she spoke
“ I think the murderer is Ayama.”
Everyone was baffled by the bold statement except me, Rai, and Ayudha.
“ Ayama ? Why ? How?”
Ira asked Nitya with a confused look on her face.
“ I don’t know how he pulled it off but as you all know he wasn’t even part of the game and he
was even fine with that dead body in the secret room.”
She said with a confident look on her face.
" But wasn’t this-"
Iva was cut short
“ Yes, I also think he’s kind of fishy. From the start, I was suspicious of him.”
Ranav said with a proud look on his face.
