Chapter 4 : Treasure

T̲h̲i̲r̲d̲ P̲o̲v̲ :

"Sorry, ma'am. Your son doesn't have any magic. He doesn't even have bloodline magic. And it's impossible for his body to grow stronger since his body very weak." said a middle age demon doctor.

"I can't believe I have a useless son! Why can't he be like his brother?!" A man spat at 8 year old demon boy.

"Please! I will do better! I promise I will grow stronger!" The demon boy pleaded at his father.

"Mom! Please!" the demon boy said and grab his mother skirt hoping his mother would help him.

The mother slap his hand away. "Don't touch me! You useless thing! I can't believe I give birth to you!!" The woman scream.

"Mom, dad. There's no need to be angry at little brother." the 11 year old demon boy said. His brother word make the 8 year old glad that someone defend him but his smile soon drop after his brother said something.

"Why don't we just abandon him at the deep forest that full of monsters so he will die quietly. With that, we can pretend that little brother never existed." the brother smile.

"Yes! Yes! That a great idea my son!" The man said grabbing the 8 year old by the back collar shirt and flew away with his family.

After some time, the man trow the boy on the ground. "Don't you even dare to follow us!" the man said while grabbing one of the boy's wing and tear it appart.

"HURT! IT HURT!! WAAA!!" the demon boy scream in agony.

"From now on, you're not my family! NOW SCRAM! YOU BOTTOM FEEDER!" the man spat while the brother laugh at his miserable state.

"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME HERE! I'M.. I'M SCARED! DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE..!" the boy cry.

However, his so called family turn their back against him and flew away. Leaving the crying desperate child without even looking back.

The boy trying to run in hoped to catch up with his family but with his current situation, that was impossible. The boy fell his knee on the ground.

"Waa...why..why everyone leaving me..! I promise I will do better!" The boy continue to cry. After some time, the boy calmed down and tiredness got him. He finally fell asleep.

???? P̲o̲v̲ :

--𝘛𝘐𝘔𝘌 𝘚𝘒𝘐𝘗--

It's been a week since my family abandoned me. I don't know how to hunt nor how to make fire. I try to catch a fish the other day, but the fish slip and slap me with it's tail. What a luck.

I try to eat some colorful berry I that found. It's taste very bitter and it make me go numb. After that I passed out.

I woke up the next day to find some bug I can eat. I found some tho, but I only stare at it. The bugs wriggling and I feel like my vision is distorted when I watch the bugs.

After a few minutes staring at the bugs, my stomach growl. "I...I need to eat it!" I shut my eyes and quickly stuffing the bugs into my mouth and began to chew it. It tastes like 𝘽𝙀𝙀𝙋!

I quickly cough and ran towards the river. I drank the water trying to get rid of the taste. I still feel some of it but I guess it's fine. I need to get used of the bug taste since it's the only food sources for a bottom feeder like me.

--𝘛𝘐𝘔𝘌 𝘚𝘒𝘐𝘗--

It's been 3 years now and I'm 11 year old. I live in a small cave. At least I have a place to call 'home'.

Today, I'm going out to find some bug to eat. I found something unusual. It was a bunch of grass and leaf form in circle shape. 'Maybe it's some monster nest. I should get out from here." I thought.

After a few minutes walking quietly, I heard a noise behind me. I looked behind and found a monster staring at me. The monster look very menacing. I got scared and quickly run away. The monster also dash towards me.

I scream for help even if I know no one will hear me. After a few minutes of running, I suddenly trip and fell on the ground. The monster dash towards me in full speed. I close my eyes in fear

After that I heard something fell in front of me. I opened my eyes and found a monster corpse in front of me. I turn my head towards my saviour and look at her in awe.

My saviour has a black hair, fluffy cat ears and tail. She has a green cat eyes like that look like a demon that has returned to origin. She's small and cute. I have decided that I will serve this demon. "My treasure.." I mumbles and after that, I passed out.
