"Are you sure that's what you want Torin" Mace Windu inquired. "Of course I thought last night about it and have decided it will be a good to improve our relationship" I reply. "Very well, Young Torin we will allow it you may take Aayla Secura to Ryloth for as long as necessary to convince her" Yoda tells me.
Speaking of the devil Aayla walks through the door "You called for me Master Windu" Aayla said more respectfully than the last time she was here. "You will accompany Young Torin on his mission on Ryloth your connection to the area and family should give good help to Torin" Windu said with happiness - I suppose they are close friends he was just looking for a good excuse to help her-.
"Thank you so much Jedi Coucil" Aayla said full of joy. "Don't thank us , it was Torin who convinced all of us to let you and him go" Obi-Wan informed her.
"Thank you Vortek" Aayla said grabbing my hands almost jumping on the spot. "That's quite all right Aayla anything to help actions do speak louder than words or so I heard from a great jedi master" I said to her.
"I hope we're not interrupting on your moment but you should get going" Windu said smirking. "Yes thank you Windu" Aayla said blushing. "Hmmm this is a moment is it Aayla -slowly getting closer to her-" I tell her only inches from her face then retract before she responds. I walk out the room and head to the docks into my Corvette *5 mins later* Aayla runs in with lots of bags and a face full of joy "MEG 2 bring Aayla to the seating area" I walk to the head of the ship "Let's go" "Yes Sir" MEG 1 responds.
*Keldabe - Torins office*
"So what is Ryloth like Aayla I want be prepared" I ask her. "It's hot lots of desert not a lot of water ... It's terrible one of our major exports are slaves and the other three are Ryll, Spice and Doonium ... My Uncle has support and the people love our Clan and we have good monopoly over the major and lesser trades of Ryloth however we lack a key thing that my Uncle needs to become the Chancellor of Ryloth and stop slaves ... We need a military superpower to support us openly just under half of the 1.5 billion people of Ryloth support my Clan the rest are under Clan Rule of tyrants who won't let them vote fairly"
"Worse than I thought" I reply "I understand if you don't want to help Torin I know it would put you in a bad position in your Clan and might increase tensions with the other Mandalorian Clans" Aayla said losing her joy much too quickly for my liking.
"I'll see what I can do ... and I'll meet with your Uncle diplomatically if you so wish" I tell her. She looks up with hope "Please meet with my Uncle hear him out I'm sure he'll reward you" Aayla almost pleads. I nod to her and start doing paperwork.
"Have you decided on what you're going to do when we get there" Aayla inquires "No ... I'm not sure but I'll figure it out ... I mean .. based on the fleet I have at hand I could deploy 1,615 Mandalorians in Clan Secura territory but I would need a diplomatic mission to justify my military presence there and I would also need a military base built" I tell her. -Since when did I start needing to open up and take council-.
"Our Marriage ... use that reason and my father is very rich and has lots of land and property with lots of resources it wouldn't be impossible to build a base quickly" Aayla suggested "That would mean we would have to at least be engaged to make it a viable option all though I could argue that if I denied the other two you are the only option and we will get married in the future" I reply
"That works for me but don't you need these Mandalorians back at Vortek Citadel" Aayla questioned. "No they're apart of my faction I own them all they follow me and my father only and my father doesn't care what I do anyway" I tell her. "Must be nice to not have to worry about repercussions" Aayla said.
"Officially repercussions aren't something Clan Vortek worries about ... it's a front ... our coffers are running up quicker than expected and we don't have a way out ... for the survival of my family and people I must find a way to get us wealth" I inform her - Why would I tell her that -
"You must trust me"Aayla said "I suppose so , what will you do now you know my situation" I ask. "I will help you and you will help me ... you take some of our vast wealth and we'll take some of your very vast military might and we will survive together" Aayla said. "Together ... that sounds nice" I tell her while moving forward but I'm quickly interrupted "Sir we are here" MEG 1 tells me "Good now prepare for the plan I sent I want all 1,615 Warriors accounted for" "Yes Sir".
"You ready Aayla Secura ... time to face the music" I tell her "Let's go Vortek I can't wait to see my family" she said full off joy
We travel down in my Kom'rk and land outside Clan Secura's main residence.
