"Are you sure this is wise?" She asked her voice sounded steady but the uncertainty was clear. "I've never been one to use wisdom and I think we both know this is what we want"

Her quick breaths showed me to how nervous she truly was. Aayla wanted to be assured it was a good choice and had to show the dangers of fully committing, "we're from two different worlds neither side seeing eye to eye... they will judge us and our people may treat us differently because of it"

"My people wouldn't dare treat me differently and maybe your reasoning is what makes this all feel so... exhilarating" Her eyes so beautiful enough to make any man break under pressure. "You don't have to be  to be afraid... I won't let anything hurt you"

Our distance closed quickly, lips colliding like a wave crashing on rocks. We grew bolder by the second and everything around us faded into a blur the warmth of her lips could make the coldest days bearable. We separated reluctantly only to intake some air.

"We need to talk about what happened earlier Torin" Aayla's curiosity clearly needed to be filled. "I need you to promise me you won't look at me any different after I tell you" The worry on her face was clear. "Of course" Aayla replied.

"When I was 8 it was my turn to become a true Mandalorian , although compared to every other Clan we were different we didn't do rituals and fighting mythical beasts we had to go to war and me being the only heir to the strongest Clan.I was to out perform everyone so, as usual on my birthday hundreds of emissaries from mostly the outer and mid rim however their was three from the inner rim came to give gifts and proposals however one envoy stood out... The Mimbanese had come empty handed which although forgivable they then proceeded to insult me and my Clan so, I... foolishly refused to accept such an outcome and openly swore among hundreds of diplomats I would crush the whole of Mimban if they didn't beg for forgiveness and they didn't so my father had them killed and next thing I know me and hundreds of ships are on our way to Mimban to in my fathers words 'protect Clan Vorteks honour" The look I had dreaded was painted on Aayla's face, the disgust and disappointment was clear.

"Why... -was that all she could say in such a time how bad am I really- why was your honour so important you had to order the death of nearly a million Minbanese, they were innocent... and you slaughtered them like they were just animals" I did something horrible and now I have to pay the consequences of that.

"When I got to Mimban I was given a task to fight on the front line and that is where i got my code name, whailing reaper, according to my father I had earned it after killing just over 800 Mimbanese... I still dream about that place the stench of blood and death was about the only thing you could smell and the things I witnessed in that place has shaped me into what I am now" At least now she knows, but at what cost "I understand you will need some time so I'll talk to you later" Aayla slowly got up and left my room. I suppose being a Jedi blinded her from the harsh reality and truth, war is ugly and dirty and the more you try to achieve peace the closer to war you get.

After getting ready for the day I make my way to the High general Kael voss "Sir we have news from the warlords they will meet you and have prepared everything they have ready, also the sentinals you ordered will meet us in Vortek Citadel... also unfortunately your mothers condition has worsened the doctors say she doesn't have more than a month if that" "Do we know who did it?" I replied. "Nothing had been confirmed however my spies tell me that the CIS and the Hutts came together a month ago for a off the grid meeting so I'm waiting to hear back on anything else they can dig up, however if you want my opinion I think Jabba ordered it"

"Voss, I need a certain enemy who definitely did it not speculation from your spies talk to me when you have something better for me" walking out the room I head to the only place I felt at ease, the training room a place to hone skills and strength the perfect distraction.

After five minutes I enter the training room to be met with the pleasant sight of Aayla Secura although she didn't look as happy to see me. "Why are you here?" She asked being overly blunt. "It is my ship you know Twi'lek" All I got in response was a look to tell me to shut up.

I go and sit down on the boxes near the door watching Aayla train "You know we have to talk about it at some point, I want you to understand that's not me anymore" I lie down on the boxes.

Aayla responded "How do I know that isn't you anymore?, you could just be lying... also I can only stay on Vortek prime for a couple of days the council want an update in person" I suppose it could be worse i could be a Jedi. "I don't understand why you continue to be a Jedi it sounds so dull not being able to do whatever you want when you want too"

"Some of us have bigger responsibilities than ourselves Mando" "Aayla I have responsibilities like deciding what to do for lunch" All I got in response was a sigh.
