Day 9 (Freen's POV)
I wasn't sure what time I had fallen asleep or how much time had passed when the sound of a phone vibrating from my nightstand woke me from my sleep. Still groggy, I tried to reach for the source of the noise when I realised I couldn't move. I felt a heavy weight on my chest, my limbs were numb, and a heat was radiating through my body. In my sleepy state I began to fill with confusion and worry, when suddenly my tired mind registered. Becky. The fog clouding my brain began to lift and I realised that the "heavy weight" was simply her body pressed close to mine, our arms and legs so intertwined that it was hard for me to tell which limbs were mine and which were hers. I inhaled deeply and was met with Becky's sweet scent, a blend of vanilla and coconut. I could get used to that.
I finally opened my eyes. Moving wasn't exactly an option at the moment, so I turned my head as much as possible to look at the time on my alarm clock. It was 00:37, and we had only been asleep for a little over an hour. I wished I didn't have to wake her up, but her parents were probably wondering where she was.
"Becky..." I murmured softly, trying to wake her up as gently as possible. Unsurprisingly, I received no response.
"Becky!" I tried again, this time a little louder as I freed one of my hands and raised it to brush away some of the hair covering her face. My touch made her eyebrows raise slightly, but her eyes remained closed.
"Mmmmm." she mumbled against my neck. I couldn't tell whether she was waking up or responding in her sleep.
I gently stroked the side of her face with the back of my finger. "You need to wake up, baby."
"Mmmm," she grumbled as if in agreement, but instead of opening her eyes, Becky buried her head even deeper into the crook of my neck.
I understood Becky to be a loving and cuddly person, but sleepy Becky was on another level. She was kind of adorable. As much as I was tempted to let her sleep right now, she would probably get in a lot of trouble if she didn't go back to her suite right away.
"Becky, it's getting late. Your parents will be wondering where you could be." I said softly in her ear.
"Let them wonder." she sighed in response, her voice sleepy. I felt her soft lips brush my neck as she spoke. My mind automatically started wondering how it would feel to have Becky kissing my neck, and the mere thought of it sent shivers down my spine.
I pulled myself together and tried a different approach. "If you don't go back, they probably won't trust you again and that will be the end of nights like this."
That seemed to work. The smaller girl moaned and began to stretch her arms. She finally opened her eyes and pulled away to look at me. The room was almost pitch black, the only light source coming from the TV which was still on. I could just make out Becky's facial features.
I moved timidly under Becky. The position we were in suddenly felt much more intimate than it had while Becky slept, not to mention the fact that most of my body was completely numb from the lack of blood circulation.
"As much as I like it, I can't feel my arm anymore. You'll have to move." I said, smiling. Without answering, the smaller girl slowly released herself from me and lay on her side so we were face to face, our eyes finally having a chance to reconnect.
"Hello." she said in a hoarse voice.
"Hi." I replied, while trying to stop myself from smiling like an idiot.
We looked at each other for a moment before Becky raised her hand and gently began tracing the line of my jaw. "You're so cute." she murmured sleepily.
I gave a little laugh. "I would take it as a compliment, if it weren't for the fact that we're in the dark and you can't actually see me right now."
