Cruise Day 14 (Part 2) – Limassol, Cyprus

Freen's POV

Becky moved on to the next part of the date while I waited with Heng for five minutes so they wouldn't see us together. When we finally set off it only took me a few minutes to guess where we were next: we were heading right in the direction of the ship's cinema. There were two cinemas on board which showed films almost every day, and in the evening when the ship was docked. That night we weren't though, so I doubted they were projecting anything, especially at that moment.

My suspicions were proven right when the scooter finally stopped near our next stop.

"Who do you know who works at the cinema, Heng?" I asked, confused, assuming that it must be one of our friends that helped.

Heng shook his head. "I don't know anyone. Becky did everything here."

I was very impressed by that information. I was a member of the ship's staff and even I didn't have the right connections to secretly go in and use the movie screens after they closed for the night. It wasn't enough to simply sneak in as we often did with the Jungle Jump and other facilities on board there; she would need to find someone who knew how to use the equipment.

"Knock on the door to the Friends theme song and Becky should let you in." Heng said.

I raised my eyebrows.

"Don't look at me like that, Chankimha; this is the secret hit she requested. I can't help it if your girlfriend is strange."

"She's not strange!" I immediately came to her defence. I made fun of Becky's antics all the time, but I wasn't going to let anyone else do it. "And she's not even my girlfriend." I added after another moment, almost as an afterthought.

Heng smiled. "Well, if you don't ask her right away, you're more of an idiot than I thought.... if that's possible."

I rolled my eyes, even though I knew he was right. I had already told Becky that I loved her, so the fact that we weren't officially dating because I was still too scared was a little ridiculous. I didn't know if I was ready for the next step though. Especially when Becky and I's situation was so abnormal. Maintaining a relationship seemed difficult even in the best of times, so God knew how difficult it would be to maintain one that was supposed to be secret and behind closed doors.

"Whatever you say, friend. See you later." I finally said, not having time to think about it at that moment.

"Eat my dust, Chankimha!" added Heng, as he restarted the scooter and began to pull away at a painfully slow pace. He looked fucking ridiculous; I couldn't help but laugh.

I walked towards the door and started trying to tap "I'll be there for you" on the door. I giggled. Becky was such an idiot but I wouldn't trade her for anyone. As if she had been eagerly awaiting my arrival, the door immediately opened and a small hand wrapped around my wrist, pulling me inside.

"How the hell did you get in here, you little intruder?" I asked, as the door closed behind me and I came face to face with Becky again. We had only been apart ten minutes at most but I was still in awe of how incredibly beautiful she was. She took my breath away every time.

"Wouldn't you like to know..." Becky smiled as she took my hand and led me down the aisle of seats towards the two on the centre of the room where some popcorn and drinks were already in place.

"Yes, actually, that's why I'm asking you." I said immediately.

Becky giggled. "Well.... Irin may have gotten to know one of the guys who works here pretty well, early on in the cruise...they watched movies here a couple of times so that's how I knew it could be done."
