𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟑:𝟏𝟎 𝐏𝐌.It had been four hours since they had been together and safe to say, they were both enjoying it heavily.
They had felt like they knew each other forever, and they were slowly getting comfortable with each other, especially Keyari.
With her being an introvert; Keyari being the first to start conversations with him, not being afraid to ask him questions as well as speaking her mind, it honestly shocked her. She enjoyed his presence and she felt very familiar with him.
At this moment, they were sitting on the couch; Keyari snuggled against his chest and his arm rested around her waist, A blanket was on top of them keeping them warm as they watched "Friday."
"Shitting in somebody's bushes is crazy." Massiah laughed. It was Massiah's very first time watching Friday and as soon as he told Keyari that, she made it a mission to get him to watch it.
"Still can't believe you haven't watched Friday before. You not black for real." She spoke as she shook her head, Massiah then rested his arm against her stomach, wanting to be as close to her as possible.
"Chill, I didn't watch too many movies when I was younger," Massiah spoke as she got comfortable, enjoying his arms wrapped around her.
Which was true. Massiah grew up in a strict Christian household. Most of the movies that promoted violence or anything that went against the rules of being a Christian, they never watched. Although he loved being a Christian, he often felt as if he was sheltered from things and wanted to try more things. Now that he was grown, he was free to do whatever he liked.
The only thing that their parents allowed was the type of clothing they wore. They felt as if clothes were their "art" in some way and shouldn't have to change their clothes if they didn't want to. That didn't mean they wore crazy clothes but they allowed their kids to do so.
"Understandable." She answered. Massiah had told her about his parents during the time they shared so she knew about the strict rules he followed growing up.
She felt her phone vibrating on her lap so she grabbed it flipping it over to see that her father was calling her, she hadn't spoken to him since the first week she moved in so she swiped the answer button.
"Hey, Daddy, Hey Nana and Ny." She cheesed seeing that her Grandma and Nyree were all in the camera smiling back at her. They seemed to all be in the living room.
"Hey princess, how's College going?" Asaad inquired ready to ask her tons of questions. Thank God they couldn't see Massiah's arms wrapped around her due to the blanket that rested atop them.
"It's alright." She said with a chuckle as Massiah looked over at the phone curious to see what her family looked like.
"Whose that behind yo——I'll talk to you later Daddy I love you." Assad started but was cut off by Keyari hanging up the phone.
"Asking too many questions." She mumbled as she saw that he was blowing her phone up. She laughed as she kept declining the call.
She also saw a text from Nyree that read "Daddy gone get you" with multiple laughing emojis, causing her to chuckle whilst she shook her head knowing that her father was going to get her. One way or another.
"Better stop playin' with that man." He mumbled into her ear as she began playing with his locs which had become her favorite thing to do.
His voice was naturally deep and raspy. Which was one of her favorite things about him. She was starting to grow an attraction towards him during the short time they shared, but she felt as if it was too soon so she kept her feelings away.
"He'll be alright." She said as she adjusted the covers making sure it was on top of both of them. She then snuggled against him as they continued watching the movie.
"When's your next game?" Keyari mumbled against his chest as she kept her eyes on the movie seeing that Deebo stole the bike from Red.
"Next Saturday." He responded almost dozing off since Keyari kept playing with his locs. This would be his second basketball game, he was ecstatic.
"I'll be there." She spoke rubbing his scalp causing him to shut his eyes in relief. He desperately needed a re-twist.
"For real?" He spoke in hopefulness as he looked down at her with a slight smile. She nodded her head causing him to show his pearly whites.
"Thank you." He verbalized placing a soft kiss on the side of her forehead as he smiled to himself. He continued watching the movie, actually interested in what would happen.
It was now nearing eight in the evening. They had finished the movie and were now getting ready to say their goodbyes. They both didn't want to see each other go but they knew they'd see each other soon.
"Bye Moo." She spoke engulfing him in a hug as they stood outside of her dorm room. He had fed her and taken her home.
"I'll see you soon phats." He smiled wrapping his arms around her waist. He then placed a soft kiss on her forehead before removing himself from the hug.
He hated saying goodbye. He always said see you soon because you never knew what could happen before they saw each other the next time.
He watched her walk through the door. "Bitch!" Carmen spoke before she shut the door. He laughed standing by the door still, shaking his head before making his way to his car.
He had a good feeling about her.
