A L E X I S

Percy was freaking on about how he didn't want to find Zeus' lightning bolt. Me, being confused, demanded to Luke what the heck was going on since he was talking to Percy.

"Zeus believes that Percy stole his bolt. Now Percy has to go on a quest allegedly to give it back."

I gawped at Percy, "You took my father's bolt?!"

"No! He just assumed it! I'd never take your dad's bolt, I swear! What does a bolt even look like?!" He asked frantically. His confused face made me realize that he was clueless, and I sighed, "Okay then... But don't you need a prophecy to go with a quest?"

"There's a prophecy now?" Percy asked in surprise. I nodded.

"Did Chiron say anything?" I asked Luke. He nodded, telling Percy to go to Chiron to find the Oracle and receive the prophecy. Once he came back, he looked nervous and was tugging at his camp shirt's collar apprehensively.

"Well?" I asked curiously. Percy sighed before reciting the prophecy.

"You shall go west, and face the god who has turned, you shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned, you shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend, and you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end."

I raised an eyebrow, "I don't know how the hell you memorized that, but well done, I guess." I replied with a small smile. He grinned light heartedly.

"I don't want to go though."

"Percy!" A bleat came from the strawberry fields, and Grover came rushing out, "I've got something to tell you!" Percy waited calmly for him to speak, but he was busy catching his breath, before looking up again.

"Percy... Your mother is alive. The way she died... kind of like a squished banana. She didn't die, Hades snatched her."

I froze, glancing at what Percy was doing. It wasn't every day you randomly found out that your dead mother is alive and has been taken by the Lord of the Underworld. Percy seemed shocked, and Luke carefully placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Percy... you have to let Chiron accept. You can't just leave. This is what the quest is for."

"Where's Chiron then-"

"I'm right here." The centaur responded. We spun around, gawping in surprise as he stood in front of us, smiling, "You may go, as long as you complete the quest as well. You will leave on Monday." He explained.

Percy seemed angry, "Monday? But my mother is dead! I can't just wait until Monday!"

Chiron shook his head, "You need to prepare. Tomorrow is Saturday, you can choose who you wish to go. For today, we will discuss what you need to do. After Capture The Flag, of course."

"What? This isn't some game! I need to find my Mom, before she dies!" He protested.

Chiron sighed, "Percy, you need practice. Come, at least, walk with me."

He led Percy somewhere, who seemed visibly angry, his eyes a mad green and his hair unkempt and messy, but his expression calmed down slightly as he talked with Chiron, before finally accepting it.

When he came back, there was an apprehensive look on his face, "So, who's up for some Capture The Flag?"

We were on the blue team, Luke as our captain. The Ares cabin and everyone [minus the Zeus cabin, Hermes cabin, Apollo cabin and Athena cabin] was with Clarisse on the red team. Luke put his helmet on, holding his sword in his other hand.

With my helmet in one of my hands, my sword strapped to my belt, I glanced at them, "Plan? Annabeth?" She grinned because she was always the one with the plan, considering she was the brains of our team.
