The musician is back

The first test

After we were done talking, we appeared inside of a "ghost town". There really wasn't a single soul.
,, We really have nothing there, there is just you and me Lili."
,, And that is what makes me feel worried the most."
,, Don't be childish now, here, you are lucky I am a great mage, I will summon some weapons." Or at least he wanted to, but no magic was allowed during the test.
,, We are doomed"
,,Stop the nagging, we have to get out of there, very quickly "
We entered the town and searched for any possible lead, quest, person, or anything, but there really was nothing to do.".

,, Tianji, I don't wanna die here! Look we have searched every corner of this empty dusty town and found nothing!"
,, I told you it won't be easy! Just be glad there are no monsters gathering around you and trying to kill you, because that's exactly what my test was about."
,, How did you survive?"
,,I knew magic before I got to the test, I am from a magician family so, I knew how to use my skills. But It seems I have never been the old man's favourite, he made me fight at least a week and after I finally got out, he told me that I am not good and that he hoped I wont get out of there. I wanted to enter the Order but after hearing those words, I left and found my current mister, he taught me things, I could never master in the Order."
,,Well I remember him mentioning, that you could teach me things I shouldn't know."
,,Lili, look! A sign!"
I looked the way he pointed his finger, and saw a little rose sign on a wall.
,, Well the first sign, but what do we do with it? There is nothing stated."
,, I guess we should look more carefully from now on, these signs might be hidden all along this city."
He was right, at first the rose sign, then a sword and lastly a violin.
,,There is no more signs there, just these three."
,, But what do we do with them, they are far away from each other, there is nothing to open, to touch on those signs."
,,Well, I don't know what kinda test this is, I never heard of anything similar. My friend had to gather up some stones and build them in correct order or something, but there is nothing like that."
,,Mmmmm three points, Tianji, I think they make a triangle!"
,, So what?! Do you want to count the angles ?"
,,No , I mean, let's try to find the center!"
,,Okay, let's find the centre"
,, This should be it, we are in the centre of the triangle."
,, I see, now you can start to count..."
,, Hey! I am trying to figure something out there!"
,, But you know, I don't really see why you humans are so obsessed with triangles, like as if everything that is out of ordinary, happens inside of a triagle! Do you want to know the truth behind the Bermuda triangle?! I can tell you that it's just a big Bullsh"
,, QUIET! be quiet, listen!"
After he finally shut up, I heared a sound, it was just like the shell flute before the gate.
,, Can you hear it? Let's follow the sound"
So we quietly moved towards the sound, and reached a place we missed before. It was a house with three doors upside down.
,, How could we possibly miss this?"
,, We didn't Lili, that's the sound that led us here but, you should choose the door."
,, What were the signs again? Rose, sword and a violin in this order. But the doors are upside down, so might be the order... My servant told me to play violin, so let's go to the first door."
,, okay, I will trust you."

We indeed entered a violin door, but what was before us, is something I didn't really expect.
There was a long thin stone bridge and sharp strings around it. Something like a laser game, with a slight difference... These strings could just chop off our hands, legs or even head!
,, That's so much in trusting you... Tell me how the hell are we going to cross this without magic?! I need my hands and legs!! "
,, We don't know what could have been in those other doors, we have chosen so, we need to cross this"
One by one we walked through the bridge and avoided the sharp strings. Tianji lead the way, and I tried to copy his moves.

After some time
,,Does this bridge even have an end??
I feel like we have been walking through for an hour, and the end is just still that far as from the beginning!"
,, I think we are missing something."
,, What could we possibly miss on a straight bridge! Lili don't get me mad please, I am focusing on not losing any body part."
,,Well try to think, we entered the violin room... Shouldn't we try to play those strings?"
Tianji stopped and I bumped to him.
He turned to me.
,, Like are you crazy? Do you know how sharp are those strings??"
,,Well they look sharp... But maybe they are not... "
I reached out for one string, but Tianji touch my hand.
,, No, let's try something else instead. From the beginning you heared a flute... Blow on those strings."
I tried it and they really made out a sound.
,,You see, it can be used as a whistle, keep it going, I will join you."
We kept blowing on those strings like crazy, and they really made sound, but nothing really happened...
,, Tianji, thats not the way, this is not working!!!"
,, Keep it going!"
Then I made a bad step and fell right on a few strings.
Surprisingly, nothing happened to me. I stoop up right away and Tianji stoped the blowing.
,,Are you okay??"
,, I think I got it. Tianji, I will keep blowing, you play the strings!"
,, Why me? Why don't you play it?"
,, Because I can't play any instrument?? Remember??"
,, Oh god, I hope I won't regret this."
So I kept blowing the strings, so that Tianji can play them. The two sounds made a perfect symphony, then the strings torn apart and we had a clean way.
,,The way is clear now!"
,, Let's go! " Said Tianji.
We ran to the other side of the bridge and there was the exact same black gate I entered before.
After we opened it, we heared a voice saying : ,, You passed, but don't be too relieved, the true battle will only begin soon."
Then we appeared inside our school in the piano class.
,, We made it, but as he said, now you will have to make a name for yourself amongst mages, you need to learn, so that you are strong enough to face, what is going to come, all of this was just a begining."
