A black male figure reaches towards me, obtaining my hand, and making his way out of the ocean, as my figure rests in the dry land. What's happening to me?
Control. Control. Control.
"Josephine. Josephine!" Adonis repeats, but I can't bring myself to respond. My head is tilted as the water fills my mouth. As I lay on the sand, a Kraken leaps over me and drags my body into the sea. Adonis grabs my hand, but he is injured when the Kraken bites into his wrist, causing a cry to escape his mouth. My body is suffocating as the Kraken coils around me, but they are interrupted by a female siren. Her necklace glows, and she places her hand over it, producing an enchanting voice that causes the Kraken to retreat.
But her allure voice echoes, inducing my body to drown at sea. No!! No!! "What do you desire?"
A luminous light shines above us, as the siren's visibility strikes me, my eyes shut, alluring her desires. "I want to see."
She's blind!
I watch through the siren's bright gaze, as a shadowy individual appears behind me. "Adonis!"
Adonis pulls me close, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his head on my neck. But in that moment, I couldn't help but... ponder about the siren, as she scanned, unaware. "I will give you eyes—"
"—if you safely lure us to shore."
The siren nods, unfurling her arms, as Adonis and I seize her hand. She swims through the deep waters, with every twist in turn, gently. My body begins to feel faint. My magic!
We arrive at the shore, and the spell begins to fade, nearly as the siren lowers me, the spell wears off. The siren pushes past us, nearly letting out her sonic scream before I speak. My heart was pounding, but my hand coated over hers. I channel her desire, resting my fingers over her eyes. I want to see. "I grant you with the gift of sight."The siren's eyes shone with a vibrant green, gazing up at the sky before gently closing. Her initial joy waned, and she softly expressed her gratitude, reaching out to hold my hand. "Thank you."
The siren leaps into the water, departing us on the sand, my head tosses forward, as water escapes my mouth, causing Adonis's gaze to pivot. A laugh tumbled from my mouth, and it continued until my sides physically hurt. "I thought I was going to die!"
Adonis' Pov
"What is it with you constantly being in hazard?", I question, nearly out of breath, as my body sinks into the sand. "I mean—it's exhilarating, right?"
I didn't want to fall in love, not at all. But her unwavering grin and lively smile kept drawing me in, and before I knew it, her determination had captivated me. Even though she was reckless, I found myself unable to resist following her. Do you understand how incredibly important you are to me?
Her gaze pivots towards me, with an amused grin. She chuckles shutting her eyes, as I whisper to myself. "You'll be my descent, and that can't help but excite me."
