A/N this will be the last chapter, and probably the longest. I literally just wanted this story to be super short and done in like a day before I lost the idea lmao

3RD PERSON POV

The tension, sexual or not, grew between Daniel and Johnny over the few days that they worked together on their project. While Johnny and Daniel got closer, they loosened up.

Daniel considered Johnny to be a good friend. They joked around numerously.

"You can sit with us." Johnny told Daniel, who had been sitting by himself for the past few days. Daniel was very confused at first. He couldn't bring himself to believe that Johnny was beginning to enjoy his company.

Once Daniel placed his tray of radioactive school food down, Jimmy began to speak.

"Bobby and I wanted to apologize to you, Danny." Jimmy said. "We know you and Mr. Lawrence are getting close and I just wanted to say I'm sorry for being a dick all the time."

"I'm sorry too. I know we hurt you, and you don't have to forgive us or anything." Bobby said. Daniel nodded.

"It's alright, I guess. Can we at least just work together for this game?" Daniel proposed. Jimmy and Bobby nodded happily. However, Daniel didn't want to forgive Bobby and Jimmy. The only reason they apologized was because Johnny told them too.

Daniel's leg bobbed up & down from anxiety. Johnny could tell because their legs were merged together. He reached a hand down from the table and placed it on Daniel's thigh.

"It'll be alright." Johnny whispered to him, just like Daniel had done in science class. Daniel almost jumped up from his seat, but instead he nodded his head.

Johnny never moved his hand, he left it on Daniel's leg.

Their next period was science, where they would present their poster.

Johnny and Daniel rushed to their class, late to something once again. Johnny grasped Daniel's hand as they sped down the hall. Daniel was giggling the entire time, which made Johnny laugh as well. Daniel's laugh lit up the entire room.

Daniel's hair flipped upwards as the wind hit him. Johnny gripped on his hand tighter.

The soon-to-be-couple burst through the heavy wooden doors of the classroom.

"Ah. perfect timing!" Mrs. Malone said. She was a completely laid back teacher. Meanwhile, the entire room stared back at the boys. Nearly 40 pairs of eyes stared at their hands. Johnny let go of Daniel as he walked in front of the room and started their presentation.

The two of them attempted to keep their composure, but every time they made eye contact they would laugh.

"Boys, please." Ms. Malone said, shaking her head.

"Sorry ma'am." Daniel said, stifling a laugh. Johnny started to explain the examples of physics in every day life.

"ah, yes. practice for the 1,000th time this month." Daniel complained.

"Never gets old." Johnny laughed.

Over the past few weeks, Johnny and Daniel were closer than they ever were before.

"You're a real good friend, Johnny." Johnnys heart hurt for a moment. Friend. of course Daniel wouldn't want him. He liked girls like Ali.

"You too." He said back.

As Johnny went to throw passes to the WR's, his throws were too short. He was sacked multiple times during practice.
