Nadhya and Sitara entered the Hall where these celebration were held. Nadhya's face was dull as she was missing her parents. "Lado betho, Mehndi ki Rasam ka subh arambh karte hai" Mayawati said
(Dear take a seat, we'll start Mehndi function.)
Nadhya sat and Mayawati came and going to put on Mehndi on her hand but Nadhya took her hand back. "Dadi Sa Pehle aap hume Mehndi lagaye" Nadhya's tone showed bitterness.
(Grandma, you'll apply me mehndi first.)
Dadi sa came and applied Mehndi on her hand then Mayawati and others also started applying Mehndi.
The celebration started, some are dancing and singing. Nadhya can't stop herself from dancing. Nadhya immediately got up and started dancing. Dancing was only what made Nadhya feel belived.
Sitara got tensed when she saw Mayawati glaring at Nadhya.
( take dance as reference, abh aesa mat kehna ki Manwa laage song uss samay nahi tha, fiction hai kuch v ho sakta hai 😂)
Nadhya didn't give a shit about others and dancing her heart out. Nadhya was unaware about the fact that someone was watching her and it's none other than her soon to be husband who was sitting somewhere far from them without disturbing the function.
Rehaan pov starts
"Sahi kaha tha un bandhiyo ne, aap toh morni ki tarah nachti tha Nadhya" Rehaan thought.
(They were right, you dance like peacock, Nadhya)
His lips turned into smirk. He immediately realised what was he doing. "Yeh hum kya kar rehe hai" Rehaan thought.
(What I'm doing?)
"Kuch toh khaas baat hai aapke Shehzadi Nadhya, Jo hume aap par fiddah kar rehi hai" Rehaan mumbled with smirk.
Rehaan noticed that Nadhya saw him. Rehaan gave his superior smirk to her and left.
Nadhya pov starts
"S-Sultan" Nadhya mumbled to herself. Nadhya stopped dancing. Sitara noticed Nadhya's uneasiness, Sitara looked at direction where Nadhya seeing, she saw Rehaan. "Bhai Sa, aur yaha" Sitara thought.
Nadhya Pov ends.
After sangeet, Nadhya was furious. Rehaan was waiting for Nadhya to showed up as he knew Nadhya definitely going to confront her.
A guard came inside "Sultan, Shehzadi Nadhya aapse milna chahti hai" Rehaan smirked.
(Sultan, Princess Nadhya wants to meet you)
"Izazat hai" Rehaan permitted.
Nadhya came inside, her face was covered with veil. "Aye Shehzadi, Aj kya sharat lekar ayi hai" Rehaan deliberately said that like he had no idea why Nadhya was here.
(Come Princess, what conditions you gonna tell today.)
"Aap bahut hi chatur hai yeh hume gyaat hai, Aapko bhali bhaati gyaat hai hum yaha kis karanvarsh aye hai" Nadhya exasperated. Rehaan chuckled.
(I know that you are so clever, and also know that you know why I come here.)
"Aap vaha kyu aye the jab aapko pta tha ki
Pursho ka vaha jaana varjit hai" Nadhya questioned him.
(Why you came there, when you knew men were prohibited there.)
"Shehzadi Nadhya, Hum vaha hamari hone wali Begum ko dekhne gye the, humne suna tha ki kaafi accha nachti hai" Rehaan said while looking into her eyes through veil.
(Princess Nadhya, I went there to see my soon to be wife dancing. I heard she danced well.)
"Itne bhole toh aap hai nahi, jarur kuch shataranj aapke dimaag me chal reha hoga" Nadhya said to ignore the awkward situation for her and weird feeling inside her.
(You are not that innocent, there is something conspire going into your mind.)
"Bahut jaan ne lagi hai aap hume Shehzadi" Rehaan said while sitting on bed. Nadhya remained silent. Nadhya decided to go but her pace got stopped when she heard Rehaan's stern tone "humne aapko jane ki hukum nahi diya hai, Shehzadi Nadhya"
(You get to know me a lot, Princess)
(I didn't permit you to leave, Princess Nadhya.)
"Sahi kaha hum Shaatir insaan hai toh hum aapko kedh karne k liye kuch soch rehe the" Rehaan lied while smirking. Nadhya chuckled bitterly.
(You are right, I'm clever, I am thinking to caged you.)
"Aap bahut dukhi lag rehi hai" Rehaan asked deliberately.
(You are looking so sad.)
"Pida hume honi kabh ki bandh ho gyi thi, Sultan. Aur hume aapse koi upeksha nahi thi, kyuki antt me aap hai toh purush hi" Nadhya voice cracked.
(I stopped getting hurt, Sultan. I'm not expecting anything from you because after all you are a man.)
"Bas dukh toh hume iss baat hai ki hum apne parivaar---" Nadhya immediately stopped when she realised what she was going to tell him.
(I'm sad because I can't meet my family)
"Abh hum jaane ki anumati chahege" Nadhya said and immediately barged out of the room. Rehaan thought about previous conversation with Sitara.
(I would like to take my leave)
Flashback when Rehaan wanted to meet Sitara.
"Sitara hum chahte hai ki aap hume Nadhya k baare me sab kuch bataye, aap unki bachpan ki saheli hai" Rehaan ordered Sitara. Sitara nodded.
(Sitara, I want you to tell me everything about Nadhya, as you are her childhood bestfriend.)
"Bhai Sa, Nadhya ek dum panshi ki tarah hai jo khule akaash me khush rehta hai kinto ek bandh kedh me bilkul mayzoos rehta hai. Nadhya hum sab me se alag thi, voh apna pakash rakhne me sabse aage rehti hai chahe uske liye unhe dand hi kyu na savikaar karna pade" Sitara told with smile.
(Brother, Nadhya is like a bird, who stays happy in open sky and depressed if caged. Nadhya was different among us, she was never scared to keep her opinion even she has to take punishment for that.)
"Yaha Ajmer me voh jesi hai vesi Dhawangarh me nahi thi, Dhawangarh Raja Rampratap k hisse me aata hai, Raja Rampratap, Nadhya k bapu sa k bade bhai sa. Jab Nadhya huyi thi toh Nadhya k bapu Sa ko Beti nahi chahiye thi toh Raja Rampratap ne Nadhya ko le liya tha aur unho ne unhe beti ki tarah paalan kiya. Nadhya ko vaha puri swatantrata di gyi. Nadhya unhe hi apne pita maanti hai, Rani Nainawati k Nadhya ko aese paala jese unhone hi Nadhya ko janam diya hai. kuwar Bhanudas, Raja Rampratap k hi bete hai, Nadhya vaha badi huyi hai isliye Nadhya vahi apna parivaar manti hai. Kinto kuch seyasi muddo k karaan Nadhya k pitaji ne Nadhya ko vapis le liya and yaha Ajmer le aye kinto bhanudas v unke saath aye aur Nadhya ki vivah tak Nadhya k saath rehne ka faisla liya" Sitara told him everything she knew.
(She is not same in Ajmer as she was in Dhawngarh. Dhawangarh's king is elder brother of Nadhya's father. When Nadhya born he didn't want girl child so Rampratap accept Nadhya, he raised her as his own daughter. They give her all the freedom. Nadhya take them as her own family. Queen Nainawati raised Nadhya like she gave birth to Nadhya. Prince Bhanudas is their son. Due to some political arguments, Raja pratap singh took Nadhya back to Ajmer but Bhanudas also decided to live with her until he found her best guy for her marriage.)
Rehaan nodded while understanding everything. "Nadhya, hamesha galat k liye bolti hai, aur voh hamesha se chahti thi ki unka vivah me prem ho na ki koi Sayasi samjhota" Sitara told him.
(Nadhya always took stand for wrong. She always wanted her marriage is full of love not any Political agreement.)
"Unhe kya pasand hai, kya nahi?" Rehaan asked. Sitara chuckled.
(What she liked or disliked?)
"I'm just asking normally" Rehaan gulped and tried to remain cold. Sitara told him everything that he wanna know about Nadhya.
Flashback ends.
"Hum aapko mohabbat toh nahi de sakte Nadhya kyuki hamare paas dil nahi hai" Rehaan thought.
"Par hum aapke chehre ki muskaan k liye sab kuch karenge jo hum kar sakte hai" He mumbled to himself.
