I turn around faster than ever. I almost stumble from the speed with which I turn, but I recollect myself.

'I do still have my phone, yes and thank you.' I smile. Before me stands the one and only Joost Klein, the guy I had been looking for since I've been here had found me himself. His two friends stand behind him, both dressed in suits. Joost is wearing a simple white button up paired with oversized black jeans. It fit him well, to say the least.

'So, I dont think we've met properly.' Joost says with a grin. 'These are my two bestfriends, Appie and Stuntje.' He continues while pointing to the guys beside him. 'Well it's very nice to meet you, my name is Madelyn.' I respond.

'Trust me, we know.' one of the guys says with a grin. They laugh it off and start talking to the other contestants at the table. I keep looking at Joost as he stands closer to me, taking a spot at the table too. 'Looking good in that dress, huh?' Joost says with a mischevious smile plastered on his face. He looks down at me , since he's a lot taller than I am. I look up at him, but his gaze, that was directed on me a second ago, was already gone.

Instead, a small smirk lures on his face.

I feel my cheeks heat up as I quickly look down. I don't know if he meant it like that. I don't want to know if he meant it like that. He probably meant it in a good way. I really hope so. Not that I cared what he thought of me.

Should I say something back? yes. now. about his... hair! yes, about his fluffy hair that isn't brushed down like in the Europapa music video, so it looks extra cute.

No wait, that's way too personal.

'I like your outfit too.' I say softly. I know he hears it because he huffs with an undertone of laughter.

'Should we get some drinks?' Nemo asks. 'Ugh, yes, please' I say. 'I'll go get them if someone helps me carry them.'

Getting drinks or remembering what people wanted wasn't necessarily the hard part, but carrying that many drinks back alone, on heels? No thank you.

'I'll help.' Joost says quickly, and we start asking everyone at the table what they want. Me and Joost then walk to the bar, where he orders.

The lady at the bar gives him a huge discount after he flirts with her for only a minute. He's just like all the other men, flirting with everything in sight.

'Sorry for that.' He says while walking back with two trays balanced on his hands. He hands me one as he continues to say: 'I don't normally flirt with everyone, but discounts are always nice.' He laughs.

'Oh, really? weren't you just flirting with me a minute ago?' I ask with a smile.

'Only if you want me to.' He smirks.

'Well, Romeo, you're definitely in need of alcohol hm?' I say while taking one of the shots that's on the tray I'm carrying. It burns in my throat, but I don't react at all anymore.

We come back to the table, still making jokes. We look like two toddlers, laughing our asses of while putting the many drinks down onto the table. Everyone starts grabbing the drink they ordered, some take a shot too.

Everyone starts chatting and dancing to the music of the person who was onstage, which is now Nemo. I sing along with some sentences I know, jokingly missing the high notes by 2 octaves. Bambie laughs as we both take another drink.

...

After a couple minutes, Joost says its time for him to go onstage, and we all wish him good luck. He and his friends disappear into the stairwell while I continue dancing to Estonias's song.
