the first few chapters absolutely SUCK because it's my beginner times of drawing...
He looked back at the bridge one last time, a feeling of longing lingering in the air. The figure atop the bridge stood still, an indiscernible expression on its face.. "Will I ever see you again?" he asked, his voice laced with worry of what the response will be. "..No. It is too dangerous, too risky," the figure replied, standing up straighter, "it was inevitable anyway." His eyes began to tear up. "But we need you. I need you. I don't care if they want to take you away, we're not losing you again. We can hide you, give you a disguise, a new identity-" "They will hurt you if I come with you. It's me they want, not you or any of the others, I'm not dragging anyone else into this." The shadowy figure said firmly, but with a hint of sadness in their voice. "I know the team needs me, and I want to go back to the city with you as well, but.." they trail off. He can feel the figure's genuine sorrow. "Fine. Then stay safe for us, and may we cross paths again someday in the future.. if the World allows it." The figure nods sadly, spreads out their deep, black wings, lifting off the bridge, the sound of huge wings beating echoing in the air. "I will. I promise, mein Freund." He smiles. "Good. You know where to find us if you escape. Follow the stars." "Of course." and so the dark figure blends once more into the darkness, leaving behind nothing but a single black feather.
