In the morning, I woke up early and excitedly rushed to the first floor. I turned on the shower and jumped in, but soon heard a few of the girls walk in. "Who's in the shower?" I heard Jiro ask.
"Me!" I answered before sticking out my head through the shower curtain.
"I guess I'm not the only one who's excited for today."
"You guys are?" Momo asked. "I think I'm mostly nervous. I overheard some of the guys saying that there's a fifty percent fail rate. Only half of the participants pass."
"Really?" I asked.
"Yea." Jiro responded. "And we'll be one of the only first years participating. We're competing against upperclassmen."
"Oh. Now I kinda feel bad. We're gonna totally crush them." I smiled and soon watched them smile too. After showering, I changed into my school uniform and started making breakfast for everyone.
"Do you need help?" Asked Shoto as he approached.
"Yes!" I smiled. "I just started washing the rice. Can you start the soup?"
"Sure."
"I'll do fish!" Hagakure said as she entered.
"I'll help you with that when I'm done." I said to her. "Does anyone want to help make the tea?"
"I'll help." Tokoyami answered.
"Sakura." I heard Katsuki say as he walked in. "Uhm... Can I help you with anything?"
My eyes slightly widened in surprise and I whipped my head around to look at him. It was pretty unusual for him to offer help and he didn't exactly seem enthusiastic about his offer. "Mm, you can help my brother with the soup." I answered.
"... What can I do that'll make you finish faster? You only."
"... You can help Hagakure clean and season the fish." He quietly began helping her and when the two of us were done, he pulled me out of the kitchen and into the laundry room. "Are you okay?" I asked, but grew anxious at his urgency. He quietly pulled me into a tight hug and buried his face in my neck. As I thought about the day before, I hugged him back just as tight.
"I'm sorry for yesterday. I hope you're okay."
I smiled at his concern and felt a warm sensation around my chest. "I am okay. You don't have to be sorry... I know that this may seem out of the blue, but how do you feel about me?"
"What?" He asked before pulling back to look at me.
"Yesterday, you said that you knew exactly how you felt about me. That's why you couldn't hold back anymore." I watched him blush and I smiled before holding his hands. "I guess you don't have to tell me now. We should probably be focusing on our exam today anyway."
"I-I think I love you!" He yelled in fluster, setting butterflies off in my stomach and making chills run all over my body. "I don't think I've said that to anyone since I was five, but... I love you. I think... I've never felt that kind of love though, so it's confusing, but all I know is that you make me feel good. You make me feel things that I've never felt before and it's sickening, but in a good way. Like, I'm always dying to see you and be near you. I'm fucking lovesick, aren't I? It's so fucking embarrasing." He hissed. He looked down and blushed as his hands began to tremble within mine.
"I love you too." I smiled, making him look back at me. I blushed and held his hands tighter to calm our nerves. "I've never felt this kind of love either, but I really like it. Just seeing you isn't enough for me. I guess I can say I'm always longing for a hug or kiss. You make me feel good too." My lips quivered nervously, but happily. "Speaking of yesterday... I think we won't be able to go slow. We're too impulsive for that, but I want it to be special. We love each other, so if you really want to have sex with me, it can't just be sex... I want us to make gentle love. Atleast, just for our first time." I blushed harder.
